I started my account in 9.1.5 and I have fairly recently discovered heart of Azeroth essences.
I have a build in mind which so far as been pretty easy to get (I plan to make Heart with Vision as main essence and unbound force/memory of lucid as minor. I’ll have all 3 on level 3 by this Thursday.
So far it’s been not too bad as those are locked behind rep or a quest only which is not a big deal.
For my last one I am wanting the DPS essence from eternal palace. So far I have unlocked level 1 by joining groups that do the raid (Ty morcee <3). The reason I want it is the level 3 applies a damage taken debuff which should still be quite strong in a lot of Azerothian content.
Level 3 seems like it will take quite a while though. I can solo normal radiance meaning atleast I will guarantee get it in 16 weeks… but do you think it’s possible for them to make essences just buyable directly for echoes of nyalotha? Just kinda hard to make parties when the mogs for that raid doesn’t seem to be as popular compared to other ones.
Now that you realize how… unsatisfactory your designs have been, could you please just mail essences and soulbinds and whatever other power changing/enhancing crap players need aside from tier sets to do the regular content.
Hmm, where to start. So there’s green trash, questing gear that’s better in all content than any build you could possibly put together involving gear from bfa. This game isn’t like other MMOs. This isn’t eso.
I mean outside of SL, the heart of Azeroth is bis. Legion raids? Bis. BFA xmog runs? Bis. With the final stamina unlock in the chamber it still adds about 10k hp for me over my current 278. Again this is outside of shadowlands.
I think what everyone is getting at is that we are all very confused why you’re going to such great lengths to get 3pct more whatever out of irrelevant content…
You just said you’re working on your heart of azeroth, ffs. Half of us didn’t even do that when it mattered, let alone when it didn’t.
I guess it’s exciting cause it’s new for me. But just today came up with a strategy to get it done (can solo Heroic radiance now so i’m pretty much set - it’s atleast 7 per week which is a big step up).
It would have been nice if during BfA after they made it possible for alts to get essences from the vendor they hadn’t removed that ability unless each alt had completed the cloak questline, given how overpriced they were.
Since it doesn’t seem like, from your description of your playstyle, that you’ve even done that questline once, then you probably aren’t out and about and seeing scads of 50-55 players who clearly are not making any effort to move into Shadowlands and get better gear. Kind of like how you play, but you pass judgment on them because that’s your schtick.
Newbie, do not waste your time farming essences. They are deactivated in current content and the old content it would work in (like say timewalking dungeons) are tuned to in no way need them. Your work and efforts are completely wasted.
Whatever “build” you think you cleverly worked out…you’re wrong and it won’t work. For better or worse, ever facet of this game is constantly and endlessly scrutinized to death and optimal builds and information is made available before the content is even live. I can guarantee you that “if” there was any way essences can be utilized, the spreadsheet nerds would have already sniffed it out and tripped over themselves in a rush to be the first to report it.
