It looks like the portal is only visible on characters who have done the Return to Lordaeron questline in Shadowlands. It starts with Calia Menethil in Oribos. My priest (who has not completed Shadowlands) could not see the portal but my warlock (who has completed Shadowlands) was able to see the portal. Upon taking the portal, she zoned into the updated portal room in UC. I hope this helps!
I appreciate the info, but I don’t think it helps. I used the portal to get to Vengeance Landing, and while the gobs say there’s a mage portal to get back, there is no portal.
