Faction disparity exists when I’m trying to find an RBG group late at night and its harder to fill because there’s less of a populace.
Its taking me more time to push 2100 because of how long it takes to even find a group.
If you want the actual narrative underdog experience, the Alliance is there waiting for you.

I love the brawl. Was getting 10-12 returns a game xD
Can you please list here the positives Alliance got over Horde that would actually attract Horde players back?
What did Blizzard do over the years?
-
Allowed faction transfers and did not control the pop change, it’s all about the money right.
-
Allowing you to play both factions on the same PVP server (this was not allowed back in the day). And then ignoring pop balance. Yes I know PVP servers are gone.
-
Blizzcon bias and everyone knows its true, even to the point where there was players getting harassed. That was the time when I realized Blizz were truly biased within their own game. The video, the band. So bad for the game.
-
Fixed the vote count on the mount that was designed for horde and alliance (Horde got their one free)
-
Fixed AV because Horde tears were running red across the Field of Strife. Constantly dominating every 10-15 man bg was not enough at that time.
-
Gave Horde paladins which should have never been done, and Alliance should never have been given Shaman. Keep that uniqueness for each faction.
-
Brought in Blood Elves to “pretty” up the fugly faction (Along with paladin) That worked for sure.
-
Horde can play both factions in bgs if they choose, why would you roll an Alliance character when you have the best of both worlds?
I could go on all night.

Ion stated that the horde/alliance faction storyline is too important to the game to consider doing this.
Hm, that’s too bad. I guess sometimes other people’s ideas of fun get to outweigh mine. Wish it weren’t the case here - I care literally 0 about horde vs alliance - but they make the game, so they make the rules.

The Horde takes anything it can get. The Alliance demands anything it can get. Two different forces of persuasion.
You don’t have anything to come back with, thought as much.
If you think it’s right that Blizzard should just favor the Alliance unfairly over the Horde, you’re back to square one. But I think both factions get what they want in their own ways. Horde does it one way, the Alliance another, and never the twain shall meet. They can’t control the makeup of the division in community like that.
No I want balance, when the game is not balanced between both factions it’s not a good game. I play horde too by the way. WoW is too much of a business now for them to worry about it.

It’s 2021, nobody cares about the faction war anymore. On populated servers, it’s the same gameplay whichever faction you choose. Your experience is not significantly changed in pvp either.
Ion cares and that’s all that matters right now. He even came out and said it in an interview. If you can change his mind more power to you. I would not mind it at all.
I mained Alliance for at least 12 years, but I got to say that I feel better being in the Horde. Notwithstanding everything else, it’s a better online life. You have to be a WoW celebrity or in the cliques thereof to get the best Alliance experience, which does nothing for plebs like me. The Horde is the pleb faction by and large.

^ This.
At this point, the gameplay and story are being hampered because Blizzard always has to maintain the semblance of two factions no matter what. They can’t move on to better things.

Blizz does not care about PVP they are not going to fix or balance anything about bgs.
The current state of WOW PVP is TRASH as in a waste of time.
Use to be fun. But that was some time ago.
There are other games games to play that have balanced pvp and are fun to play.
