True, but IIRC Pokemmo specifically has been a thing since 2012 I think? Somehow they’ve evaded Nintendo’s C&D.

I had my doubts about this PokeMMO thing but I’ve been playing it 3 days straight now (the only truly iffy part was getting safe roms, I had to go through 3 emulator sites to find real roms)
emulatorgames dot net (seems fine, always scan however! And of course only download the roms if you own a copy physically ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )
They really did a great job meshing so many roms together to make a singular experience. If you liked poke-mans its definitely a great thing to try out! great recommendation OP

I wish they’d hire one of these Pokémon clone studios to work on pet battles. If pet battles were as in depth as Pokémon, it would be a LOT more fun.

im v “new” to the technical side of pokemon so i found it very difficult to beat the story lol, as all AI have 6x31 IVs.(things i had no clue about 5 days ago lolol)
imagine being able to breed battle pets and get shinnies, or if they had evolutions.

Right? Or move sets bigger than 9 moves. Egg moves, EV/IV, shinies, deeper move pools, LEGENDARY PETS. Could be so much better.

Yeah me too, Pokemon is in a weird spot where they need to use what works but also they havent evolved much since 1998 and it shows.
Yea I still love the game and generally know up till the emerald sapphire iteration. But the versions on DS seemed gimmicky to me. Then I came back during the switch era and these just feel like the only thing that’s changed is the 3d aspect. Idk what I’d ask them to change but it just feels like the gameplay hasn’t grown much. The elite/multiplayer wild battles are pretty cool in sword and shield but I just haven’t felt like picking it up.
