Plz Xplain Manual Crowd Pummeler

<This guy, tho admittedly not in classic

Protip, combine your crowd pummler runs with gold farming, get paid by people like me to kill the last boss and check the rare spawn for certain gear we need.

Protip, fused wiring is easy to farm in gnomer so being an engineer ( which you should be if you’re a dps class/spec anyway ) isn’t a bad idea.

thank you for illustrating the point broheim - you would actually be surprised that that very question has come up before…

now tell that to EVERY SINGLE FERAL DRUID WHO WILL BE PLAYING CLASSIC…

Have to take into account, that you are not guaranteed 5 pummelers in 5 runs though. The drop-rate is something like 30% I think. But kudos to those who wanna go through that mind-numbing grind day in and day out just to be viable.

Battlegrounds?

:stuck_out_tongue:

This is the correct attitude.

For myself, I do not derive any satisfaction from having to make creative use of game mechanics simply to be considered on par, at best – especially when it would involve grinding on top of regular consumables etc. For me, this is essentially a gimmick, and while gimmicks are fun and worth learning about and even trying on the side – that’s how you deepen understanding of the class and get better at playing it – when push comes to shove (i.e., progression), I would rather play to the “intended” strengths of my class.

It’s not viable? Guardian Druids farm the thing en masse for repeated use in raids because of how solid a tool it is for helping establish Threat. On that point alone it’s supremely viable.

not just that but fully optimal - especially for a threat heavy fight like Thaddius where your best bet is to have a Feral Druid tank

Gives uncontested threat that is only matched by a fury warrior decked out in gear while using a pserver exploit that won’t exist in classic (probably) Preeetty good and simple to setup for ST fights.

On top of a pile of money, with many beautiful ladies?

Well. In a nutshell. It’s a club and you hit people with it. Hope that clears things up. You’re welcome.

Dry humour…I like dry humour! :sunglasses:

You’d think the Gnomes would just be able to walk into Gnomeregan at that point considering how many Paladins and Druids come in an clean house.

But yeah, because of the eventual lockout you hit, that would just be a perfect time to go farm the other consumables you need. Because the MCP is basically just that, a raid consumable. That’s the price for #hardcore.

Dues Vult!

Feral druids have a haaaaard life in classic.

Thinking of running Gnomer that many times makes me want to puke. I strongly dislike that place. I even hate the music.

MCP is mostly for Feral Druid Tanks to build up obscene amounts of threat. That’ll make them the ideal pick for certain fights like Thaddius.

It’s almost enough to make me want to accept the challenge of bear tanking, since by 1.12 bears get all their buffs over the patches.

This is where I farmed my wiring on my engineer.

Imagine needing 4 or 5 charged gears (random stat spawn) off the last boss AND a set of bracers from the rare spawn (random stat spawn), on MULTIPLE toons.

endgamers have it easy by comparison.
