Plunderstorm resets Retail options

And if you play it, it messes up your wow settings. Absurd!!

Not even if you play or dont. Ive never opened plunderstorm, and all my chat windows keep resetting on log in.

I also don’t get arrows to quest objectives on the minimap and the map pins don’t show up in the world.

The issue im having is its turning off all nameplates beyond about 50 yards. This makes pvp nearly unplayable, as i cant see enemy nameplates until im practically right on top of them. same issue happens whether its auto-detect dx or with dx11L, setting graphics level to either base or 10 has no effect, nor do any sliders related to view distance.

this appears to be associated with the clip distance for certain on map assets like wagons, fences barrels etc. These type assets and the NPC/PC nameplates both clip out at the same range when i have graphics quality set to base game.

This is exactly why I’m here. It’s made Weizpvp no longer work.
TBH I’d rather unsub than have plunderstorm ruin the only mode of the game that I care about.

Some for both me and my sister. Neither of our quest arrows work and toggling the setting does nothing.

same exact opinion. bliz has always been the fun police though. you can have fun, but only in approved ways. that way is “grind raids to get top tier gear that will be obsolete next time we release a patch”

i have cancelled all 4 of my active accounts. out of curiosity, i logged into wow on an old computer ive not played on in well over a year. it too has the issue with the nameplates disappearing beyond 50 yards

i can conclude that either bliz has made this a global change with no intention of resolving it, or the data to fook my UI up is account specific.

in either case, since the ONLY gameplay i engage in is 85% unplayable im out.
