That’s what I thought…but I really don’t know the rules of the Elementals. Know the Earth Elementals in Deepholm are well and alive. Seeing Morchok come right on back threw me for a loop.
They could easily use some time travel or alternate universe shenanigans to bring him back. Maybe some of those Elementalists will join up with the inifinte Dragonflight to rescue Ragnaros. Or maybe we’ll get the Ragnaros from the alternate universe Azmerloth, where everyone is a murloc, and his name will be Rrrggnnrrrss or something like that.
Deathwing isn’t dead.
Someway, somehow, they are gonna force Sylvanas back after this expansion.
They have made her the icon of the game and Blizzard, and there’s no way they let her rot off-screen for too long.
The Elemental Planes are like the Shadowlands or Twisting Nether for Elementals. Dying in the mortal plane exiles you to your home plane, dying in your home plane is a true death.
I actually do think it would be a good and proper twist if the aspects do end up betraying us after we fully empower them and I think there is a non 0 chance that happens.
Remember their primary purpose is to AZEROTH and not us. I can see a world, albeit not too likely, but a world where the aspects met in secret and decided we’re the greatest threat to Azeroth herself but in their current state, they obviously can’t defend her FROM us…so why not take out 2 birds with 1 stone and have us expend our own resources to get them powered back up and then they use their newfound power to subdue us.
This is all a plot by Magatha Grimtotem so she can remove Baine and rule over Thunderbluff! Baine is going to have his time to shine( and not die. I know some if you are hoping for his death).
He got Thrall laser beam’d into a bunch of pretty sparkles.
Deathwing isn’t coming back, but he certainly left enough of a legacy for someone to try to take his place!
