I have another

Sylvanas discards the Horde and any Forsaken not devoted to her and goes to Northrend to take her place as the Lich Queen. The start of the next expac is a battle against her, the Alliance, the Horde and Bolovar has taken over as the leader of the Forsaken not devoted enough who Sylvanas abandoned.

World of Warcraft: Rise of the Banshee. At the end of the expac she is a loot piñata

This one isn’t very original, but whatever.

The Deaths of Chromie scenario was just a piece of N’zoth’s plan to kill or Infinite the rest of the Bronze dragonflight. Other than Chromie, he succeeds.

N’zoth then sets a trap for us. When we defeat him this expansion, we are sucked into a time vortex that throws us all 100-300 years into the future. In this future, Azeroth has fallen to a state of chaos. Black Empire armies, Queen Aszhara at her full might, elementals, and various factions of surviving mortals are all locked in an end-war. The shadowlands, emerald dream, and elemental planes have collapsed back in on the world, screwing everything up even more. Azeroth is broken as Argus, some are trying to void corrupt her, the rest are trying to kill her to stop it at all costs.

At first, we join with the surviving remnants of the factions , killing various interesting groups/bosses, but make no progress in the big picture. We know that killing Azeroth is endgame too. There is no hope, things are too far gone, and our slaughters only hasten the spiral to apocalypse.

We then try to find Chromie, the last surviving and sane Bronze dragon, and find a way to reverse the disaster before Nozdormu’s end-of-all-things comes to pass.

Tl;dr Basically End-Time, but there are lots of factions alive and fighting and we don’t know if we can get back.

I want a sect of the Nathrezim to join the Horde so that they also have a race-from-space like the Draeni. It would be very cool, but probably not a popular story concept since there’s pretty much no way anyone on Azeroth would trust the Nathrezim again, Lothraxxion being an exception.

The horde never followed the alliance through the dark portal to AU Draenor. Why would they. Killing alternate versions of themselves or their predecessors is just silly.

Instead a revolt occurs in Orgrimmar, Voljin is executed and impaled on one of the many spikes of Orgrimmar as a traitor. Other subfactions are expelled. All the other orcs of Azeroth converge upon Orgrimmar where a new horde is formed and they travel through another dark portal to a previously unknown world and begin a whole new world of warcraft.

Meanwhile back on Azeroth while the Alliance is busy engaging the AU horde…

Grom Hellscream is on trial for the war crimes against the Dranei and war mongering.

(Also that retcon book Blizz put out never happened.)

The total defeat and integration of the Horde and the complete removal of the faction system. (seriously, almost all of wow’s terrible story telling stems from this god forsaken setup)

Anduin agrees with Wrathion that the only way to protect Azeroth is to end the Horde-Alliance conflict. But, he believes that if one faction dominates the other, there will never truly be a united front between the two factions.

Thus, Anduin is actually using a small squadron of priests to mind-control Sylvanas. He believes the only way to force the Horde into coming to the Alliance is to make them come to the consensus that their war against the Alliance allows corrupt leaders to come to power to the detriment of their people. He wants the members of the Horde to see him as a benevolent ruler who truly only wants the best for them. He wants them to see leaders like Baine and Saurfang working with him willingly and trusting him as a positive thing.

His endgame is having the Horde dismantle itself and its races pledge themselves to the Alliance in the name of uniting for worldwide peace.

He’s not too worried about the leaders of the Alliance supporting him in this unification, because he knows eventually they all come around to seeing his side of things. One way or another.

Vol’Jin comes back as Warchief. Hey, if a zombie lady can run it, why not a ghost? Harder to kill him again, that way. Plus he’s got the respect of the living Horde, and the ghost thing would garner respect from the Forsaken. He’s not done there, though. He removes the title of Warchief except for literal times of war, and turns the Horde leadership into a proper council.

Also, Rokhan and Talanji are in loooooOOOOoooooove

10/10, great idea, I hate it.

My own addition to on Wielislaw’s…we have to recruit someone to help save the timeline by trying to go back in time to where it first diverged. But the full force of the Infinite Void Flight is there, so the only choice to lead us is one man, one who has successfully stopped any assassination attempt on his life by the Infinte Flight for years.

Arthas Menethil.

I kind of still want Jaina and Thrall to get together, as ridiculous as it’d be at this point.

They make hints in even ToW that jaina still wanted Thrall. So it wasn’t just the fans.

Sylvanas making it out of BfA alive.

Sylvanas stands at the cusp of victory. She’s got the priest’s old knaifu, stripped of the waifu, and N’zoth is all like “Imma gonna win!” The Horde is following her through the power of breasts, and the undead are swarming all over the place. Saurfang is the only part of the resistance left, when he receives a message to meet him outside the gates of Orgrimmar. With nothing left to loose he goes.

Meeting him there is Thrall. Put the pitchforks down! Thrall’s there, but he’s bigger. Huge. Like, his in-game model in SoO is now his actual size big. And his alone. He tell Saurfang not to worry, this will all be over soon. “I’ve discovered truths about us old friend. Truths we should have known all along…”

Sylvanass’s forces arrive at the gates to arrest Saurfang and probably kill thrall. Because she’s totally not evil guys she’s totally good!

Suddenly, in the distance, massive chunks of rock strike the earth, kicking up dust and debris. Saurfang shields his eyes. “Warchief…” he mutters.

“Not warchief…” Thrall answers. “Warboss.” A massive horde of orks rush past them, screaming as they collided with the undead in a clash of violence and blood. “And this isn’t a war anymore… its a WAAAAAUGH!!!”

Ah the first suggestion that truly annoys me. Not only is the Horde just as evil as before, but now evil and stupid

I’d go in a different direction and enact a forum rule that admitting that someone’s bypassing the 10 character limit in order to make a no-content post would become an actionable offense.

Chen and Li-Li explore Zandalar and Kul Tiras, looking for local beer recipes and fighting local threats like they did in Valley of Four Winds. Eventually join up with Ji and Aysa.
