So give us Gnome Paladins and revive it.

This isn’t rocket science.

I get you, but it seems hopless man. I mean, I’m waiting for the next patch, but I think not all people will do so. They are just silent.
There’s even people waiting to get the new book of the shadowlands and without any communication, the book gets delayed.

I want them to give players exactly what they asked for but then when it’s terrible they just respond with screenshots of the people asking for it.

Honestly, I’m slowly approaching the acceptance phase.

You got a point, I totally agree.

instead they opt to do what everyone says they shouldn’t do.
defending blizz at this point, especially in regards to their continued borrowed power systems and incessant, time wasting grinds is hilarious.

At this point I think all core races should get all classes. Probably going to happen in 10.0 to bring people back after this crapfest of an xpac.

Where’s this poll of “everyone”? Nobody asked me.

Undead should have been its own faction, and goblins should have gone to the horde in Vanilla.

I wouldn’t complain if people were allowed to play whatever as whatever.

Still waiting on Ogres.

THIS. I’m tired of all those people talking to the players like everything is perfect and we should not be asking the devs to do their jobs.

Hey guys, I do just want to say that we have no idea if that post was real or not. I get that a lot of people, regardless of it’s authenticity, feel like it encapsulates what’s going on at Blizzard or that it even serves as a picture for Blizzard to look at and see what we’re seeing. That said, we can’t just go and ascribe everything we read in that post to Blizzard. If we want to have Blizzard work with us we have to work with them.

Trust me, I get it. I’m only playing FFXIV right now and am happy to offer my criticism up for Blizzard. 9.1 was a huge disappointment. That posts resonates with me on an emotional level, but that doesn’t mean we can just say that it was accurate or what is happening. That only serves to have Blizzard disregard us even more.

Every one of my feelings in this post comes from years of experience of our feedback falling on deaf ears, not a leaked 4chan thread.

Not true. If the game reaches below a critical mass of players, whales will stop playing. Nobody keeps playing a dead game, and if you see no one when and where you look, to you it’s dead.

I don’t share your opinion. At this point we all know that we will keep playing because we have a toxic relationship with WoW.

I’m not disagreeing with that, I have no doubt you’re well justified in that. However, using the language from the post doesn’t serve any purpose other than to justify in the minds of Blizzard to further ignore us.

I agree, it feels like Blizzard has that attitude though. They absolutely do treat us like we’re just going to give them cash no matter how poor of an expansion or experience they release.

I disagree. Some have a toxic relationship with the game. I still play because it’s fun to run low level dungeons as a twink. But wow has been curing wow addiction since BfA. Long-time players are realizing they no longer have a need to play and are leaving.

I think the devs believe that everyone is so addicted that they will never leave, no matter how slow content is to come out, no matter how weak, no matter how buggy. I think that whatever narrative they have constructed for themselves is unable to process what is happening in the playerbase now.

They seem insistent on making/designing a game that FORCES players to log in to keep running on the treadmill instead of players WANTING to log in to play and have fun. They choose short term gain and “more money now” instead of stability in the long run and consistent and happy players(customers).

My personal thoughts(I cannot speak for everyone)…

  1. No more borrowed power or “everyone gets a leggo”…it convolutes things and makes it impossible to balance and on top of that, imo, takes away from the baseline class playstyle/toolkit/fun

  2. Go back to your MMO-RPG roots for this game…Make classes and specs fully functional and balanced WITHOUT any borrowed power or systems, dont make every spec a builder-spender playstyle. Give some spec and class uniqueness back(this ties into next one)

  3. Get rid of E-Sports and stop trying to turn this into an E-Sport game…it’s an RPG, E-Sports has NO place in it. (competitiveness, sure, but designing the game from the ground up for “what will be fun in e-sports, how will this function in esports, or this class cant do this because e-sports” is totally screwing up the BASELINE thing we all encounter each time we log in…that is our chosen class/spec)

  4. I want my class and spec to be unique, they should all have nuances that make them different and feel different to play…again, e-sports ruined that because all classes have to be able to do everything otherwise they are never taken and couldn’t “put on a show” in some dumb tournament they want to throw.

  5. Stop making us “the hero” I want us to be a small part of the story, a no name adventurer that may have “helped out” others taking down the big baddies. I can’t stand being called a hero anytime I walk by an npc.

  6. Build a great MMO-RPG and people will play it because they WANT TO, not because they HAVE TO to stay relevant(because it’s pretty obvious that a lot of players are fed up with the forced gametime and hamster wheel tactics.

Next EXP needs to be a hard hitting mmo-rpg go back to the roots FUN and IMMERSIVE expansion, none of this systems upon systems to force people to log in. Make it baseline about the classes/specs and build a world around that.

Does a manager bat an eye when an irate Karen promises to “never shop here again!”? Nah a problem just solved itself.

GD and Reddit are not “the community”.
