Please stop designing patches for esports pros

Thank You, Thank You very much, Im nothing but a forum dog ah speaking all the time and if you aint no forum dog you aint no friend of mine.

Eh? That simply isnt true at all.
Also I truly dont think you understand what an actual addict is.

Why does everyone feel entitled to just be able to accomplish everything in the game?

The whole idea of normal/heroic and even lfr is that people who don’t have the hand-eye coordination, reflexes, intelligence, time, or inclination to do mythic can actually experience the story. Everything else is a glory badge. You aren’t entitled to it
because the whole worth of the glory badge is that there’s a to. Of people who sucked too much to do it.

Starting hard and making it progressively easier means that people of various skill levels get to experience a challenging raid. Making it trivial on day one just rubs the community of a challenge.

It’s reasonable from the start.

I thought I was on the Overwatch forum for a second. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thats why i quit retail and got my refund. Same old junk from the past two expansions. They made a mmorpg game into a EA sport Speedrunning mmo. I only play classic era, and its got a nice size community on whitemane. Medium pop now an steadily climbing, and i wonder why. People are flocking back to the original base game again because Blizzard refuses to return it to a game thats not about cosmetics, mount farming, and raid logging. Come join us and relax instead of dealing with the EA sports crowd.

All this trash “ability bloat” is in many cases showing you boss mechanics ahead of time. For once blizzard is actually using the game design to teach and help players. I agree with you though we have tools in game to learn these things like the Dungeon/Raid Journal and most players especially the LFR crowd dont even utilize that or even the chat when others explain what to do (first time/learning aside). This game in general at least LFR/normal in terms of raids has been the easiest in a long time mechanically. It just hurts a lot to mess up.

Not really and its a bit unfair to compare. In general people do enjoy this expansion. There is near unanimous agreement BfA and SL were not great, and not long before WoD. Makes total sense this one may not sell well even if it turns out to be the best. Many players those to expansions drove them out. Im sure the lawsuit also turned people away

Keep in mind, nerfing content is what killed wow in the first place. I prefer a challenge. Not this run in pull half the map, boss fight, pull the other half. This is not a strategy. This is what’s called easy more. I like it when you have to pull a mob lot two, use cc, what threat, watch mana, these things just don’t exist anymore due to people complaining and whining making the game easier and easier. Let’s have another cata shall we. How many of wil leave
again or for good.

These forms hae become nothing QQing about everything.

Lol imagine thinking wow has an esports scene. You just suck.

If you look at the correlation of wows subscriber base vs game difficulty, it could be argued it had the most players when the game was easiest (in my opinion the game got easier vanilla-wrath). The more mechanics that get thrown into dungeons and raids, the more research required to play, the smaller the player base seems to get. Just an observation.

The E-Sports folks cleared all the content (Raid, M+20) that offers rewards in the first week it was out. Thousands more have cleared it since then. If it takes 8 weeks to make it reasonably challenging to you, then perhaps the difficulty of the content isn’t the limiting factor.

This I get. its probably easier to subtract from what is already there than it is to add something new that was never there before.

This I donʻt get.
When was the last time you saw a thread about “Yay tanks get a 10% nerf to Damage mitigation! Whoo! Best day ever!!”
Or “Damn it all! They buffed my DPS abilities 5%
My class is unplayable garbage now!”

At about 2500 io rating you start to see players attempt/time a 20 key. That ranks the character around 196k worldwide out of 2.7 million toons that have completed a mythic+

So roughly 7% of mythic+ characters have seen a 20, the max vault drop (some toons may be played by the same person). Is that good for the game overall, or bad?

Yes. At that level, 7% is really good. I was suspecting more like 3-4%.

This smacks of someone who has a FOMO on certain Titles such as AotC, CE, M+ Season 1 etc

Why can’t we just enjoy the content for what it is. Who cares if they are pandering to eSports or pandering to the braindead who shouldn’t M+ anyway. Why not play your game. If you find an M+ or raid too difficult. Gear up or practice until you can. You sound like a Karen. I find the challenge in pushing through the M+ and improving my key week in, week out. If blizzard decide to nerf or buff certain things it’s another challenge you have to over come

Walked in raid, didn’t kill Mythic Raszageth.
Entered arena, still not gladiator.
Uninstalling, this game is bad.

That’s content buffs.
