Please stop complaining about new content

:scream:

I got news for you, friend, you ain’t the easy going guy you think you are. You can blame a frivolous game mode if you want, but I suggest you look inward.

It’s completely revisionist history to say that PvP would have been DoA without rewards. But it’s probably best not to keep arguing about it.

I was on Hellscream, which was PvE, and there was literally never a moment even at 3 AM when I couldn’t find a fight in Hillsbrad.

Quoting this right here for great emphasis. This is such a bad faith response to any discussion or argument about a game, and how often people here on the WoW forums use it like it’s some sort of “gotcha” is mindnumbing. It’s essentially admitting you’re wrong without admitting you’re wrong.

Options > Interface > Search Status Text and choose from the dropdown, you may need to toggle from one to another to get both if it is already set to both, this however does not appear to stick between sessions.

while I agree the complaining is juvenile
we’re not all going to love everything they add to the game. Be an adult and keep that in mind
but you have no authority to tell others what they can and cant post here. Id keep that in mind as well.
your thread here is every bit as ANNOYING in telling others to shut up as theirs are whining about OPTIONAL content.

Youd think the OP and those like them believe this forum is for THEIR personal reading preferences, lol.
At least the complaints about the content are in line with what this forum is here for.
Blizzard needs to know if we enjoy the content and IF we dont, WHY we dont.
the complaints matter, even if I personally think some of them are over the top
ie whining about optional content I dont have to do seems like a waste of my time, personally. I just aint gonna do it, but assume others will enjoy it.

Instead of whining about whining, the OP should have posted what he likes about the new content and left it at that
not trying to silence others who dont

Sorry only works on Atari 2600

That’s my point.

You can’t take the metrics of the first few days seriously. You need to wait until the week is done. Guaranteed it wanes down.

We’ve seen it again and again with events in Wow.

If this is the kind of content they are going to be releasing, I will be playing other games. I have not even logged into WoW since this thing went live, been happily playing ESO, Starfield and reading books. My sub runs out in a couple of months and this is the first time since I started WoW in 2008 that I have not bought the next expansion during the pre-release promotion period.

If it wasn’t for complaining there’d be about 1% of the content in the forums overall.

It gets really bizarre when people complain about content that hasn’t even been seen or tested yet!

I can’t see you all the way up there on that horse it’s so high! Like
 light a flare!

troll sockpuppet alert

I suggest a therapist

Not even kidding

The major issue is the amount of rage some one throws out when Blizzard does something that will appeal to one group, but not them

It’s entirely fine for blizzard to release patches that will appeal to one group of players but not another.

It’s also fine for them to try new things (which they said they’d be doing in Dragonflight) to draw in new players

Raiders rioted when blizzard did battle grounds because how dare they focus on pvp and not pve, pvpers lost their minds when blizzard had to tune things around some pve content (before they wrote in the code that allowed functionality variances in skills) .
And people lost it (and some reason continue to) over Mythic+

People could legitimately complain about the impact Plunderstorm had if it was a block to progression gear (pve or pvp) in the main client, but it doesnt
It’s a mode to try new stuff and the reward for testing it is some non-game impacting stuff

Most of which will very likely end up in the Trading post (which how many people complained would be a waste of dev time, or some how devalue something that pretty much everyone got
18 years ago as a cosmetic)

The bottom line is, in WoW the sky will always be falling for one group of players or another
And they all need to stop getting so butthurt when another group gets something new

It is.

By literally tenfold.

And I have every rep in the game at exalted (that is still possible), as well as one of the original Tier 0.5 sets (Warrior) that had a massive questline to upgrade them.

I was also attuned to karazhan on not one, not two, not three, but 4 toons.

I did the MoP Cloak on 3 toons. I did the WoD ring on 2 toons.

I am well aware of what grind is.

This grind is AT THE MINIMUM, tenfold worse than anything else they’ve ever had in WoW.

It’s really not, unless you are incredibly incredibly bad at the mode
