Please stop censoring the bloody game

Given your penchant for stirring pots, arguing for the sake of arguing, and never in my opinion having anything to share in a discussion other than arguing and rabble rousing, you are irrelevant here in my opinion. Good day.

Larry has more than a few bikini clad women in his art…he would be censored with this crowd.

Elwood and Elmore did such amazing work in the day, I loved everything I saw of theirs. And yes, they wold definitely be censored in this overly zealous cancel culture today despite the fact that they, along with Frank, Boris and others set the stage for what is fantasy visuallly.

Well, Larry never sold himself as being rated “T for Teen,” either.

You have no idea what Teens do nowadays do you? Your definition appears to be E for everyone.

Teen rating allows Suggestive Themes and Crude Humor

It’s a very nice example of something that should have been self-censored, because it adds nothing to discussion and only attacks another player. Repercussions are strictly reputation damage, however.

I want a t-shirt with Grincel’s portrait on the front and the quote, “Here we are.” beneath it.

There was no rating system then. Parents were able to make decisions for themselves without needing the govt or corporations intruding on their right to do so themselves.

Or, continue to make feedback threads ad nauseam

I’d buy that.

Mmmmm. It was more that parents didn’t know what their kids were into until they saw it, got shocked, and started demanding censorship. Now we have a group of old white men judging what is and isn’t acceptable.

It doesn’t matter what I think. I don’t set the ESRB content rules Blizzard agrees to abide by.

Is Blizzard aware that there are players running around WITHOUT SHIRTS? And that you can transmog your chest armor to HIDDEN?

I would wear it to next BlizzCon and try to get on TV during the Q&A and I would make sure my shirt was visible throughout my question.

While this holds true for this generation, it certainly wasn’t for mine which is the generation that grew up on Vallejo, Elwood, Elmore, Frazetta fantasy art.

Like I said Teen Rating allows for Suggestive Themes and Crude Humor…so this is all BS.

I’m guessing you never learnt about self-censorship. Sometimes an individual or a company will censor themselves to avoid more extreme consequences.

The ESRB was around for 10 years before WoW launched. That’s what we’re talking about here, right? Your distaste for “reclining colorful blob that might be suggestive of a woman if you squint” being removed by this company and replaced with “tasteful bowl of fruit with a neat texture overlay to look like cracked paint,” yes?

I invoked Elmore to point out your pointless invoking of Vallejo. Two artists who have nothing to do with the production of this game.

At this pace “suggestive themes” will be defined as “this corporation suggests you not do anything that someone might object to”.

It matters to me what you think, Rollo. What do you think?
