There’s a big difference there: the massively inflated Honor gains yesteday were a bug that wasn’t true to how the 2.4.3 TBC Honor system worked, so hotfixing it was returning it to the proper intended rate of Honor gain. What we’re asking for is a deliberate change from 2.4.3 mechanics to keep our spec interesting and engaging to play, which obviously requires more consideration since it would be an actual change to the game.

I kinda feel like giving them this energy fix helps offset forcing folks to literally spend half of their Classic experience either buffing or farming MCPs in Gnomer. Like yo, take back one of my random ticks of evocation if you have to… I’ll be good. As long as they’re not busy cycloning me in arenas, druids really deserve to have the fun switch turned on here. Hope the devs listen to you on this one.

Need more people like you my man.

Blizzard please address our concerns at the very least. TBC launches in less than two weeks and I can’t make a decision on what I’m doing until we get a formal response on this topic.

I’m in the same boat. Like, I want to play Feral so bad man, and the fact that power shifting was a thing made me want to play it even more. TBC launches in less than two weeks, no idea what or if I’m even playing if they don’t change this.

Just cut energy costs for all Feral moves by 25% and be done with it

Cat DPS was never going to top the meters in TBC, but prior to this energy tick change it was at least going to be competitive. With how clunky it all feels now I’d be surprised if we can out-damage any other DPS class once TBC hits. All of the flow of the rotation is gone, and not only does the resetting tick timer rob us of the muscle memory built through Classic but we also get a random amount (19-23) on the first tick after shifting, and if you get 19 energy you can do anything for an extra global.

Please fix this Blizzard. Feral druid was supposed to be better & more fun going into TBC with tons of QoL improvements, talent buffs, and new fun skills. This energy tick change is going to undo most of that work and shunt people into other classes & specs that they don’t want to play, or see them unsub entirely.

Bump for justice

It would be great to have our concerns acknowledged or addressed. Please let feral cats use the TBC energy system from 2.0 up to 2.2. The current energy system negatively impacts the enjoyment of the spec - it’s just slower and clunkier.

This is certainly within the scope for the types of changes Blizzard discussed making to BC during the Blizzcon panels. Please revert this clunky and un-fun energy system.

Do you all not realize This is like late alpha/ early beta… there are fires all over the place. SO MUCH TO FIX. and the development team is underfunded and has been allocated limited reasources. The money we pay for subs and all the deluxe purchases go elsewhere than to quality control product; a well made polished game. You would think after 15 years it would be easy for them to do but they cant because they no longer know or have the appropriate personnel that could do it in a timely efficient manner. Its going to take time because across the board so much needs fixing.

we all completely understand that, but that isnt he issue here. we dont know if they will ‘fix’ it. they are saying its not a bug. they are more than likely under-staffed, but that doesnt mean they ‘are going to get to it eventually’. i would be completely fine if they came to this forum and said ‘this is on our list, we cant get to it right now but be patient’. but they havent. everything they’ve done has pointed in the opposite direction.
