Seems dumb to say a dungeon, like BFD, has a level range up to 32 but when you bring a level 31 your group loses 90% of the XP for the first half of the dungeon. If the lowest level mob is level 23 then force level 31s out through summoning stone and LFG limiting mechanics. Or make the mobs give XP through the dungeons listed “level range.”
Really annoying to have to make these stipulations in LFG and still have people frustrated when you tell them you can’t bring them, it’s much easier if they just know they are over-level due to them being unable to be summoned.

Really wish they added that level sync thing so friends or higher levels could join with adjusted stats and such.

Then play retail?
You are literally asking for retail, if you don’t like SoM then don’t play it.

I’m enjoying SoM, doesn’t mean I still wouldn’t like stuff
added to it even though they won’t do it lmao.

They have it, in retail wow.
Go play it

I’d rather they just let the upper-level limits not affect EXP. Would make more sense.

I don’t play either so idk.
These ideas are getting dumber by the day, congrats!
I get wanting to prevent boosting, but that is just so dumb.
Syncing a level 50 to the lower dungeon level threshold so friends can help out is dumb?
Big kek. You guys want this game to die so bad.
But no more boosting, that’s what you wanted, right?
Gotta prevent you retail re**rds from completely sucking everything out of Classic that makes it Classic.

How is this Classic anymore?
We literally have like two features from TBC LOL.
Try harder Nelf.
Just because someone cries the loudest doesn’t mean they should get what they want. But retailers really love to whine.
Summoning stone range is final boss’ level plus a couple. Some people like to play it safe, and I think thats ok. Both your reason and their reason are equally valid, and if you dislike running with someone that will hamper your experience, simply don’t run with them. If you’re recruiting, simply denote the level range you’re willing to take and it should cut a lot of apologies out of the equation.

I like that we can still utilize the stone a bit later due to the fact that many dungeons require a 2nd pass through to finish collecting items. For example, yesterday, I finally made a trip back to BFD to finish collecting quest items at level 33. Two of us opted to work together to make it a bit easier.
You are correct though, that it requires communication w/interested folks to ensure they know the proper level ranges and that the group has optimized exp gain.
