I am looking forward to War Within.
Maybe its only so many lockouts because they dont want you on here WHINING FOR P5 BECAUSE YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO CONTROL YOURSELF.
people will gear up faster for the shortened life cycles of the raids .
those with the time to play will be rewarded .
these arent bad things.
so don’t… The harder version will give more drops so can do it once a week and be fine. Those other raids aren’t even in phase 4 so why are you bring them up??? They say this is for all phase 4 raids not phase 5 or 6 so sure you can still do MC/world bosses twice a week in phase 5/6 but why unless you need something specific in which case you should be happy you get more chances?
no matter what choices they make there will always be an uproar from someone. im honestly not understanding why just doing it once a week is a problem. what opportunities are you missing out on? is this about gear. just trying to understand the big issue with that
Two lockouts a week is horrible, if people want to raid more they can play alts. I suspect that the idea of we want to quickly move past MC is part of this decision but give the game time to settle every phase. It would be a negative if MC was not the main form of content for at least 8 weeks. Please reconsider.
Keeping it the same as it has been for 20 years would have at least been expected and understood going in. Changing it at the last minute to appease the Twitch Streamer class of player is ludicrous. There is a good reason the schedule had been weekly for so long. It should be obvious, but the world is based on a 7 day week. Everything we schedule is based on a 7 day week. Further, a second lockout per week only means guaranteed easier difficulty. Like, far easier. If people can’t go back and clean up their raids, that means the raids are going to have to be so mind numbing it will make LFR look like a challenge. People wanted some raid tuning for new and interesting aspects of the dungeons? Nope. Not if they’re making you restart for every raid.
There are a lot of implications of this change, and they’re not good for a long term game. Even a not even long term game, but just a month or two. This decision alienates guild organizers everywhere. I really don’t think some of you know what this kind of change actually means.
Thank you.
Blimbus, according to guild records, you’ve only attended raids on Tuesdays, but have missed all of the Saturday raids. This places your attendance rating at 50%.
Unfortunately, we are going to have to replace you with someone who can make all the raids. You’re welcome to sit on the bench though.
Hahaha exactly!
I get it for sure from the gm standpoint. My guild broke up when they increased the raid size and we didn’t have the best players and it got harder to keep the performing ones every week, til it just died out. Kinda sucked but it is what it is. but tbh no one gives a s about me anyway lolol. hope you guys get a middle ground at least.
This is a dumb take.
“It’s annoying to gather a million world buffs for each raid lockout”
“Then don’t use world buffs”
…
Surely the dual lockout will be the main issues, and not the 3 other version of WOW with raiding to do as well including a brand new expansion just 2 weeks after the release of this.
I couldnt imagine trying to lead a guild when the schedules keep changing.
This is why gdkps fueling the pug community is great.
Then BWL will be out and you can do that instead of MC.
this is absolutely not the case man, mc gives you 2 seperate legendaries.
people will want to run MC just for that chance at those alone.
Ehhh, Gdkps also just in general sort of kill guild raids at a certain point too.
Once you get the gear you want you dont really want that character raiding with your guild. You want to start making gold from gdkps with him/her.
whooo thats my GM i love u blimby xoxo
A binding run takes like 15 minutes once BWL is out and MC is literally right next to BWL.
Youre right, but people will still likely want loot that is coming off rag for quite awhile.
My biggest issue with this is Blizz is choosing our two lockouts with this.
I wish there was a way for players to set their own lockout days, allowing guilds to formulate their own schedules to raid that works best for them and not try to organize around what blizzard thinks is best.
I’m confident we could schedule 2 raid days and get all of this stuff done, but Tues-Sat for atleast myself and I ‘think’ my raid right now makes that very hard.
I agree, remove lockouts. Let us just free farm the raid as often as we like. Lockouts as a system are out dated and serve no purpose.
