I agree with OP we need to merge with NA. Queues are just getting longer I had 12min 2v2 queues the other night against the same team 5 games in a row during peak hour.

A lot of people are posting without knowing what is involved in this stuff, if you queue arena on retail you will generally vs Australian teams unless the queue goes more than around 3 minutes, at which point you will vs a team on USW, if you are playing peak time and you’re not a very high rated player you will not be overly affected by this. Higher rated players and people who queue in abnormal hours however will now be able to actually play the game. Please don’t listen to the whining blizz…

The “lag ruins pvp” sentiment is so overblown, this is not an FPS game that requires twitch reflexes or pinpoint accuracy. Playing with 200ms is completely reasonable and we’ve done it successfully in retail for 15 years.

Is it better to play with 30ms? Yes of course, but not at the cost of having a dead scene. Playing with NA ping after sitting in a long queue is the lesser of two evils.
