“oh we want everyone to experience the full content” is something that comes later with LFR and airsoft mode. That is not BC now.
It’s odd how we all knew and accepted in the old BC that not everyone would clear the newest content. I didn’t go through Sunwell back then until wrath.

OH NOES THE CAPSTONE RAID OF TBC IS CHALLENGING. THIS IS A SLAP-IN-THE-FACE.
A competent Dev team would have buffed Sunwell, even if it was only something relatively uncomplicated like increasing all boss health by 10%.

Sunwell was cleared by the sweatlords that practiced for weeks on the PTR in 52 minutes.
I don’t really understand people’s obsession with demanding everything be as hard as possible, especially in a raid teir that literally doesn’t matter.
Most people aren’t even going to bother looking at sunwell at it’s current state, becasue none of it matters wrath is literally coming around the corner and even most of sunwells gear will not last long in wrath.
Have your unnerfed version for a short while. That’s not a problem, but it’ll get nerfed eventually, and I can already see you guys complaining about it being nerfed.

The data is there. Maybe you can tell me the real story behind it. I’d like to learn.
Look like that a lot of players prefer the “free epic gear walk simulator” instead of having to progress a bit on a 15 years old content.
Probably the same ones who are gonna complain 2 weeks after the nerfs being applied that they’re bored and want WOTLK ASAP.
6-8 weeks are enough for most players enjoy the progress. Don’t you think a step-by-step nerf is better than nerf all bosses at the same time?
Pre-nerf for half the P5 duration then nerf it.
Some players did enjoy the feeling of “progression” and having to try a bit on some boss. So, let’s them enjoy the game too. Not everyone is fan of instant gratification on nerfed content.
The irony of this post being that you don’t need more than 4 hours to down sunwell and you’re actually far more geared and (hopefully) far more intelligent than your almost 2 decade younger self. There is nothing left to progress into, so let people have their fun for a month or two or wait until wotlk. You’ll have your ezpz raids then.
Man please don’t nerf anything sunwell. Soon enough we will have WotLK and with that we get level 80. If someone needs to have a peek they can at that point?

I soloed ZG as a pretty undergeared hunter at 80 in OG Wrath, but I don’t think I could have cleared Sunwell even when I had better gear.
(I’m not arguing with you, just thinking out loud.)

At that time we spent 5 months to get 6/6, 8 hours a week. I guess now most players in the game not on the forum don’t have the patience. They will just quit like what happened in parse 2.
