IT IS, there is no double dps comp other than rogue mage that I would favor vs ANY healer ANY dps in 2s. Not one duo dps has the upperhand. Im sure the best of the best can sometimes win but they are never the favorites

Doesn’t mean you can’t beat them, there’s usually some room to win and depending on what your double dps is, you can even have a slight advantage.
Rn there’s only 2 or 3 specs that can realistically threaten certain healer specs on their own (before late damp) which kinda limits your queueing options.

It looks like most do.
Can’t say I’ve pushed it in a competitive way but the few times I’ve played either ret/sp or feral sp(me as sp here) in previous expansions to slightly above avg lvls (2.1- 2.2ish), they felt entirely different than what I ran into this expansion, although that was the first few weeks.
Historically there’s always some kind of 2s cheese like DH in bfa or stuff like that, not sure if it’s sin rogue/fury this time around, haven’t played since week 2 or 3.
It really doesn’t help OP is posting from bm hunter pov lol.
I mean you peaked at 2100 in shadowlands when ret was a god tier spec and don’t actually Q anymore. It’s not exactly farfetched to say you’re a little washed up. 2400 is still top 50, and in shadowlands people were pushing nearly 3k.
I see double dps everyday at my MMR. It honestly just kinda seems like everyone got used to free rewards in shuffle/blitz and doesn’t actually care to push a hard bracket.
This is the era of the most cc, most defensives, and insane self sustain. It’s a little perplexing to me that people actually think double dps is bad.
I also think the players that struggle playing double dps, would struggle equally playing healer/dps.

You think cheesing thousands of 2s games with sin rogues and fury warr makes you a SpaceX engineer? I only pointed out that it does seem most people do seem to think double dps is not great atm and you went into attack mode, and didn’t even look things up well.
It’s fine if you live in a world where you can tell Drexia, an actual multi rank1 player to “git gud” bc you cheesed him in 2s while he probably was just having fun but you really need to calm down a bit, not every1 here is out to attack each other.

Affliction, Demo, Arms, Outlaw, Demon Hunter and Shadowpriest
I’ve played at high MMR with JW, but we’ve never gotten elite. That’s what my orc mw played w/.
The day he learns to hoj out of coil is the day he farms me into the ground LOL
Faced him last night, he still didn’t learn. I literally tell this guy how to beat me and his ego is so big he won’t take advice

for haters citing that i play bm and complain, bm is not the only spec i pvp with it just happened to be toon selected when i posted this thread. i just think alot of people would enjoy a 2’s bracket without healers or at least make them less tanky so the match isnt drawn out for minutes going through full rotations and cd’s several times for no reason simple as that. ive killed plenty of healer/dps comps using double dps, but it does take forever and that’s just not fun
Double-dps 2’s is a great way to learn your class/rotation. I wanted to learn arcane on my mage and queued up with another random frost mage. I like 2’s because you can virtually play whenever. Sitting in blitz/shuffle queues is no bueno for me.

idk, I always felt healer/dps vs healer/dps 2’s is the best way to learn your class. It’s a bit slower paced and is a bit more foregiving than double dps can be. Also, some classes just do not work very well as double dps. warrior/dk/dh/affliction lock etc.

Its a great thing Blizz more than likely won’t listen to garbage like making 2s only dps.
Doesn’t really matter, if healers were nerfed to where you could just tunnel one and win in 10 seconds, their next posts would be ‘hOw CoMe No OnE iS hEaLiNg!’

I agree but playing with a healer is too forgiving. Like I learned that I use blink and alter like an absolute goon. Really I just learned that I’m bad at mage 
So dont play arena. Problem solved. There is in the general pvp tab a part which says Skirmish. Feel free to queue up. If its 2s its guarantee that it will be without a healer.

Yeah just start 2s at 60% healing debuff, healers don’t like it they can que SS and stop holding up the line so dps don’t have to wait 25-30m.

To be fair you can probably miss 90% of your traps in 2s and still be 2100 as Bm in that bracket. (Possible slight exaggeration)
