Well that would suck. shouldnt ALL healers be raid healers?
Resto Druids are fine as raid healers.
The problem is that encounter design on Mythic strongly favors defensive cooldowns. This is why Holy Paladins (aura mastery), Disc Priests (barrier), and Shamans (spirit link) rule the roost.
Throughput is actually secondary to prevention cooldowns.
It’s also another reason why Warriors and Havoc DH are so valuable, since rallying cry & darkness bring additional cooldowns.
I hate HoT’s. I heal with shaman in group content just because I can almost knock players off their feet blasting them in the face with heals with resto shaman.
But running solo Resto Druid has been able to deal with nearly anything I run up against. Even some of those nastier 122’s. that is just healing me, though. Not sure how it’d pan out if I had to keep a group alive.
I like druid for its mobility stealth and all around cool factor.
Not too sure Id get into raid healing with it. Not because its deficient…it might be fine. but because it feels proactive to me instead of reactive and I prefer the latter.
LOL
Yeah and they shouldn’t be considering the opinion of the person who says Feral is “ok”
I see.
honestly i dont think I could keep up in a raid healing with resto druid. I like the feedback I get from shaman. If I cant SEE the health bars jumping pronto, I feel inclined to keep banging buttons. Im sure id have WAY too much overhealing if I tried healing with druid in group content
Resto Druids excel on fights where you KNOW that the entire raid is constantly taking steady damage. So you just blanket the raid with HoTs at all times.
Mythic N’zoth & Mythic Orgozoa come to mind as excellent examples. Especially Orgozoa, I don’t know that there’s been a steadier constant damage fight this expansion.
I thought that was probably the case. I have to kinda know whats coming. Makes sense with the HoT healing with Druid.
Im so used to just assaulting the target with heals with shaman that Im really sluggish with druid when ive tried it.
I dont know…Im going to main a druid in SLs…maybe its time to crawl out of my safety zone with shaman and give druid a try in some dungeons or something
They can all raid heal technically. Its just some specs are a tier above others. A resto druid will never heal as good as a holy paladin in the current raid for example. Varimthras from Argus is the only type of fight perfectly tailored to a resto druid. Entire raid stays in your effo and never leaves it and everyonetakes ticking damage.
Is this a troll thread or what? Druids are in a good spot aside from feral and resto is pretty much the best healer ingame overall…
Feral is one of the most overly complicated, dull, and outdated specs in the game. The only spec that is worse than it is Guardian, and that is just because it is boring to play.
There is a suggestion option in-game that will ensure your complaints actually get read. No such guarantees on GD.
H paladin is actually the best overall healer if you look at pvp, m+, and raid.
Why would a feral druid main be opposed to feral druid buffs?
If you’re referring to Balance, it feels way less clunky when you weave your Arcanic pulsars with your Streaking stars and stay focused getting those 9 starsurges. It’s a rhythm you get into.
This is one of the worst responses I have ever read. No offense. You clearly do not know much about druids. Why even make the comment ? Lol? I play druid and I destroy rogues
This is why everybody thinks you’re trolling, thrash isn’t even the main AoE ability for Guardian. Can’t bring myself to even read the rest of your post after that since you have no idea about the class.
HAHAHA, you do know that Resto druid are hands down one of the best healers for M+ and there raid healing isnt too bad either?
You know me being a main druid and everything
This thread is over a year old. How did you even find it to necro it?
I didnt even notice the date. I was lost on the OP’s words. Druids bad shesh if your feral sure things are a bit harder but the other specs
