Yeh, but none of that is system implementation. All systems will be implemented at that point. It’s just flipping a switch and letting us into the expansion’s new territory at that point.
I agree with this too. I’m just jaded considering the lack of concern for the PvP’ers and somewhat convinced Brewfest is probably more important than us. (I’m kidding.)
Here’s hoping it’s the 6th and we get a proper date tomorrow.

In the past, the “proper date” has been given with as short a notice as 5 days. Don’t hold your breath.

I’m hoping to see a Release build hit the PTR Wednesday and a pre-patch announcement on Friday for the 29th.
It won’t be tomorrow. It’ll be the 6th, almost guaranteed.
But GOD I wish it was tomorrow. I’ve exhausted my backlog.

end of the Battle for Azeroth PvP Season 4 is “soon” That’s your 2 week notice, Oct 6th pre patch.
they can easily implement the level squish and class changes, customizations etc. a week before and then release the scourge event when brewfest ends so your point is invalid
That would be perfect and there have been pre-patches that didn’t have their event start the first week I’m pretty sure.
Prepatch is Oct 6. The time when brewfest ends.

They dont have to. That prepatch blog was their warning so it can be next week

Patches are always when events end. That would make the prepatch 3 weeks same as BFA’s.
This expansion is just like my marriage - I don’t think it’s ever going to end.

BfA’s was 4 weeks… there’s never been a pre-patch shorter than 4 weeks.
