Please Let Us Earn the Druid Mage Tower Forms Again — Legion Remix or Future Content (such as Legion Classic)

That seems like a gross over exaggeration. Are you really that upset about not looking like a cat that sparkles or a notreallyabearbutabear that you go “man this sucks. I don’t wanna quest anymore”.

I could enjoy questing far more if someone gave me cash for every quest I cleared. That still doesn’t cause me to claim the class is functionally broken because that doesn’t happen.

No.

The game has changed drastically since legion, and your artifact was key to beating the mage tower. With that particular borrowed power system long dead, it’s not worth the hassle to try and code the encounters to match present power systems as they’d have to do it every expansion.

If they brought back MT, then every piece of fomo content, from ranked pvp to mythic raids would need to available to earn.

Yeah, I will have fun getting all the cutting edges with my guildies. And we will have almost infinite shots to get every Hall of fame title, seems fun.

Yes :frowning:

And now I have to redo every single quest on my priest so I can get caught up to my druid. I don’t care about them being warband - my main needs to feel pretty.

That’s why I proposed an idea long time ago that i don’t mind blizzard release a toy to everyone that allows them to use MT appearance but only they can see it.

However, I don’t think any pro “bring-back” people accept it. Maybe you’d accept this compromise?

Well, there’s an easy solution to your problem here: give the old players who earned the achievement back then a flashier achievement panel & a title.

This is a remixed event… it’s not unreasonable to ask that they bring back the most sought after cosmetics from that expansion.

In fact - it’s reasonable.

Sorry I don’t think that works.

Title is too little to be seen. And I don’t want to paste achievements in the chat box every time.

So I guess you also don’t like my idea? So perhaps it is not how your main’s looking that troubles you, it is how people recognize you matters.

Edited:
Just realize you replied my earlier comment, sorry that doesn’t work either.

While this could work for me… I don’t think others would be happy with this… and I want them to be happy. I think druids would likely prefer a re-tint over a toy.

Also for this theoretical: the toy would need to somehow only work in kitty form. Since it’s important to be able to visually tell what form you’re in (at a glance).

You said it better than anyone.

thats the best solution. we already have these things. one shows T3 but only for you and the other uses the MoP cloak effects but only for you to see. I see nothing wrong releasing a toy that equips a random color of your specs specific artifact appearance but only client wise being visible.

It’s World of WARCRAFT not world of FASHIONcraft. If you don’t enjoy the gameplay itself, and care more about the fashion of it, why play at all?

Truthfully, this would make me exceptionally happy.

But, it would be crucial to somehow make the toy only work for feral form (so that you could tell what form you were in, for casting spells easily).

It sounds dumb… but I don’t necessarily need others to see my sparkles. I’d be incredibly happy to see them myself.

I also felt cheated because the Mage Tower Disc Priest weapon used to give you this beautiful golden trail… but they removed that cosmetic feature of the weapon post xpac :frowning: I EARNED THOSE SPARKLES T-T WHERE ARE THEY

Dont think that would be a problem for them to make. Also that mop cloak toy we got from mop remix. Maybe they give us an MT visual in same fashion end of legion remix that just shows client wise. It’s a good solution honestly, as most people dont have all 36, everyone would benefit if they just want to look cool for themselves, not others

I never said I didn’t care about the gameplay. I love the gameplay. I’m just more focused on questing at the moment rather than raiding. I’m planning to get heavily into M+ next season again, though.

And also: Fashion IS important to this game. That’s part of why the trading post was introduced. Same with the Trial of Style.

This is a “world” of warcraft. Not “Just” warcraft.

I dont remember it having a trail just that it has the sparkles at the head of it. I am personally using the pink one of it. well good I dont remember if thats the case I didnt miss it then

Fair enough. I think this is the problem with catering to the top 20% of players and the bottom 20% of all time WoW players. It leaves everyone in the middle behind. I truly don’t understand, how player pixels impact someones enjoyment, especially when just questing. Maybe I’m getting old. I miss the BC clown days. That’s my hot take of the day lol.

okay. admittedly the trail was nowhere near as vivid as the kitty one… BUT it was still super special to me. It was like a single golden trail. I’d describe it as a less powerful levitate (shine-wise). But… if you were in combat, you still got to keep the trail.

Whereas if you use levitate and are hit, the trail vanishes.

ok well no idea I like the model of it so I am not too bothered not having a trail on it. it’s still the coolest staff to me :dracthyr_a1:

Agreed, no staff tops it. The model is incredible… but it would definitely be improved by bringing back the original tiny sparkle trail it had!
