Then people will be back on the general discussion with it where you will actually see a lot of people against it unlike on here until it buries down again into midnight discussion. That’s just how it is.

I’m not so sure about this, I think this bug really opened a can of worms. Not having something is one thing but to be finally given it after repeatedly being told you can’t have it only to have it taken away again threw a bucket of fuel on the fire.
And yeah I get that people receiving them via a bug is wrong and they should be taken away but there should at the very least be some further communication/discussion or statement in response to the significant level of community feedback surround the bug.
What would you even expect them to say? They already said it was a bug and it would be reverted. Ion has taken a hard stance on MT appearances not coming back, even as recent as Lemix launch. What else is there to say?

Outrage burns out for the masses once the next thing to complain/talk about comes up. As soon as Remix is done we’ll be in Midnight and the forums will be filled with complaints and slights based around that content and in particular Housing.
There will always be the occasional thread on the MT and probably from some of the players here who are up to triple digit posts but we also still get threads about High Elves.
Honestly I’d be satisfied (not necessarily happy) with something as simple as “sorry we really messed up with this one, as per our previous statements we will not be bringing back mage tower now or in the future” and locking all the threads about it.

So you want them to grovel at your feet? Bugs happen. It is what it is. They already stated it was a mistake.
There was a billion druids on all general and tradechats cross region spamming and talking about the BUGGED appearances they just gained within that 1 week of it. If you somehow did think these were not not intended then you are just dishonest. They dont owe an apology, they clarified it as a bug and fixed it as said.
No I want them to acknowledge the severity of their mistake and the community response to said mistake. This topic is all over various social media, other bugs are not and there’s a reason for that.
They haven’t even mentioned in the hotfix notes despite the original blue post advising people to keep an eye out for it prior to it being fixed.
If you remove all context pretty much anything seems harmless. In this case lets add some context to your contention.
Druid forms comparable to Legion MT forms are rare or don’t exist elsewhere in the game.
MT Druid forms being locked to the Legion expansion achievements has been a long standing controversy and arguably not favored by the majority of players.
Druid forms in general are lacking in number and quality. Dragonflight did release several skins keeping in mind they were almost entirely just NPC skins/models that were already going to be in the game regardless and not unique to Druid.
If you can’t find a SINGLE cat form appearance that you like that is obtainable, then you just don’t like druid. It’s best that you move on.
Side track idea…
Add a Druid ability that allows Druids to target any animal that a hunter can tame and adopt that animals appearance matching the appropriate pet type to their current form… Solves a lot of problems for Druid form scarcity.
But everyone knew it was a bug, no matter if they did visit the forums or not. if you played the first week of remix to even know you “had” them then you would also see all the people talking about it being a clear bug regardless the entire week inside the game.
Sorry I just don’t see how it matters to the cause when it was clear what it is and they stated they would fix it and so they did.

I’ve wanted this to be a thing since forever but assumed it wouldn’t work especially in PvP scenarios where a Druid+Hunter team could use it to confuse enemy teams. I was very happy to see that they added one of my other most wanted things though (the ability to mount your pet with Hati.. still want it for all pets though lol)
I was illustrating why your logic is flawed. Just because someone doesn’t like the appearance of something doesn’t mean they don’t like its core, aesthetics and fundamentals are two different things.

It’s really not that serious lil bro. Players who didn’t get it in Legion should rejoice they got it for a week, especially considering Blizz’s hardline stance on MT appearances since legion. Instead they got players, like youself, who think the sky is falling and Blizzard needs to grovel at their feet, for a simple bug/mistake. You are being unreasonable.
I could consider an outrage if a bug/change prevented a player/ group of players from reaching an accomplishment within cutoff time for a certain reward/title/etc or a game breaking bug that effects gameplay. But this much outrage for a cosmetic, Blizzard has said ad nauseam would not be coming back, is ridiculous.

You’re conflating aesthetic preference with vanity. I never said appearance was more important than the fundamentals only that disliking one doesn’t invalidate appreciation for the other. It’s entirely possible to value something while wishing its presentation were different.
They are easier because of general game knowledge and the fact that every single classic starts on the last patch.
If mists started on 4.0 and everyone had the game sense or knowledge of someone who has never played anything past cataclysm it would be very different that starting on the 4.3 patch with people who have known the ins and outs of both mists content for almost 13 years, but the many iterations since.
