Speculation
The current speculation is that she is withering a bit due to the empowerment of becoming Elunes vengeance.
In the book there is a scene where she is winded and needs to sit down when speaking with Thrall. Nothing really shows why she needs to or why she has becomes suddenly exhausted.
Additionally, we learn from the first Night Warrior that you canāt be released from the power once you take it in. So it is a curse so to speak.

How would you like it if someone starts a thread asking for your head? Will it make you sad? Maybe a little teary eye? 
Tyrande disagrees with this suggestion. She says she rather stay alive and settle score with a certain undead elfā¦ that likes to play with fire.

Malfurion aināt crap. Heās stupid, selfish, and useless. All he does is get hurt and trapped and sleep. He would be a nobody without Tyrande. He has the blandest personality. Malfurion is a useless dumb baby.
Tyrande, however, is powerful and strong-minded. She is Eluneās chosen and thereās so much to do with that. Historically, Malfurion stole the spotlight from her, so she couldnāt shine. Itās because of him that she became such a hollow character.
Kill Malfurion. He offers literally nothing to the story. Let Tyrande grow.

I accept! On the other hand, the alliance overwhelmingly destroys a horde capital ( No Thundebluff. Maybe Suramar ), spits in the face of the horde council and leaves orgrimmar laughing, with a free pass.
It doesnāt and that was Sylvanasās concept behind killing Malfurion.
