Can I have your stuffs?
Correction, âYOUâ donât want Wotlk Server but others like me do. Now go back to Cata tourist.
It doesnât matter what YOU or YOUR friends want. It doesnât matter what I want. Blizzard has the actual data and would have done a cost/benefit analysis on the situation. If Blizzard finds the benefit TO THEM is greater than the cost, they will make a server. If not, no server for you. It really is as simple as that. We will find out within the next twelve days.
Ah yes Blizzard the guys that had the data that vanilla classic would fail, remember the good old, âyou think you do but you donâtâ not like Blizzard has ever been wrong about that right
Seriously bro. I feel like I am arguing with crazy people or something.
In my honest opinion, the reason why vanilla era failed is because they kept all the servers up. They should have funneled all the cloned toons to 1 or 2 servers max.
With wrath, so far the petition has like 750 people. That is enough to keep 1 perma wrath server going. No doubt there are more people out there who want a permanent wrath classic realm to. They just havenât said anything. I think alot of people gave up on blizzard during bc when boosts were announced. And then when no bc permanent classic servers were announced.
But I refuse to give up. it makes no sense to do so.
If you and the three other players on Earth who want a permanent WoTLK server and will play it longer than three months, make your own private server? Four people is considered busy in the private realm space.
Yeah except when TBC didnât get any Era servers, that shouldâve clued you in really.
You wouldnât play on offcial WotLK servers if they decided 5 years from now to bring them back? Alright sure.
Why would we wait 5 years for blizzard to actually make the executive decision to actually make permanent wrath classic servers a reality. Like I am not waiting anymore at that point.
Thought youâd always be advicating for WotLK Era serversâŚ
Interest will eventually build or, SoD will be so successful that it bleeds into a TBC SoD and if thatâs similarly successful, WotLK SoD. Now the chances of this happening I admit are slim, but if SoD continues its success into TBC (something I believe was alluded to) then the chances of a WotLK SoD style server would be pretty high.
If they take SoD to Wrath SoD and leave it there that would be quite fine with me.
I would <3 that.
Sadly, Iâm guessing that will not happen.
I would be to. A permanent version of wrath SOD would be fine. But I want a permanent plan wrath classic server more. I have characters I leveled and I donât want to start over on an SOD permanent wrath server.
Absolutely agree. Sadly it seems Blizzard hasnât learned that âclassicâ for many ended at, if not before, Wrath. So, also sadly, Iâll take what I can get. As it seems they cannot be bothered to leave a single Wrath ever realm up.
So, I uninstalled the Wrath client. I am off the âEraâ train for anything beyond Wrath.
I wish you well in your future endeavours.
Iâd die for a TBC classic server - I was so sad when WOTLK was coming.
Maybe if yâall hadnât spent so many dollars on gold
Not having era servers wouldnât hurt so bad?
Agreed. I wonât be playing it for a while regardless. But this would 10000% be the right move. A LOT of people got into classic for WOTLK. But I donât think they will do this because it will split the playerbase between Wotlk and Cata. Idk if they want to do that.
Thatâs what people said when they asked for Vanilla era, it would split the player base. But it didnât almost everyone went on to BCC. Thatâs why thereâs no wrath era. It wouldnât split the players because almost no one would play wrath era i.e. no profit in adding it.
This just sucks. Like they totally forgot the lesson with private serversâŚ
Guess its time to check if that auto-renewal is turned off like I guess it needs to be.
Yah I cancelled my sub yesterday. Listed no permanent wrath era realms as the reason. But I got a year left to see if they change their minds as I was on the year long sub.
But lesson learned thunc. Donât ever trust a darn thing this company says or does ever again.
Wrath had the token. In fact, had they left a single Wrath realm in tact, they would still sell WoW Tokens on it. But, they didnât. So, uninstalled. Done. They can call things beyond Wrath as âclassicâ or âeraâ but Iâm done with them from Cata or later. it is what it is.
