It’s that time of the week where Mktaar necros the Wrath Era threads!
It’s that time of the week where someone is jealous and mad that someone is talking about permanent wrath classic realms.
Like why do you keep responding zaalg. I don’t understand. All you are doing is enabling mktaar’s behavior.
I remember when people begged for Vanilla era servers and it took Blizzard releasing extra spins on Vanilla just to spark interest in Vanilla. It’s not worth keeping a couple servers for Wrath when they will likely be dead within a few months of release
They have left some retail servers deader than dead. They can and should spare the coin to keep a single server of each version of the game going.
Man I am just gonna start sayin this to people. People who don’t like my opinions about how I want wrath classic, and don’t think I should have them or that they are important or that I am in the minority or whatever. And all they have to say is that I necro stuff, or I live in an echo chamber. Sorry, but that isn’t an objective perspective on the topic.
If that is all they have to say. Then those players opinions, for or against classic, well, they aren’t allowed to have an opinion or a perspective either on the matter.
I second this
I am a Wrath fan and would love to have Wrath Era servers!!!
Also on the subject of necroing threads, two weeks isn’t a necro or at least it wasn’t back when all the necro thread stuff started many years ago. Two months ok I can see that but two weeks is not. It even says at the bottom the thread will close Two months after the last reply. That, imo gives people a two month window to reply to a thread. Once its closed its locked. Once locked you can’t even necro.
On the subject of the Wrath Era servers, Cata killed the game for me. when they destroyed the world it literally broke my heart. I loved the classic world and they just torched it to the ground almost like “were the new team in town and were gonna make it our game.” Wrath was the best version of classic and it deserves to be here for us.
I will not move on with Cata, I will move on from blizzard hosted games though. I have spent what i can only imagine equates to thousands of dollars over the years on these games since WC2. The last time I gave them the benefit of the doubt I had moving forward with Cata. This time I will not because I lived it once already and it wasn’t very good.
Yep, that was Ghost Crawler and his crew.
It was a vain attempt to make the old world meaningful again. By wrath no one spent any time there except to rush through as quickly as possible, which was why they added DK’s starting at 55. I was glad they burned it down but even that wasn’t enough to draw more than a fringe group that actually played the new quests. It was just an area to rush through with full heirlooms to maximize the xp to minimize the amount of time spent leveling.
Yes I want Permanent wrath classic server options to. More than anything.
Meh. I mean the people who accuse me of necroing threads are morons. So I generally have started to ignore them.
We don’t really have a bunch of objective thinkers around here anymore. Kind of wish wow was made by like final fantasy mmo developer. Not one of the greediest american companies in the world.
Least yoshi p listens to the fans. Blizzard and it’s accompanying fans be all like, but like, wrath classic permanent options won’t make billions of dollars in 2 seconds. All that really matters anymore. Not that blizzard would go bankrupt of course. Blizzard is one of those companies that would absolutely bottle up air and sell it to us if they could make a quick buck off of it. Probably poison it to, and still keep the blizz faithful going.
Either way, if permanent wrath classic servers don’t happen. It will be time to go. I mean, blizzard is just some company that makes games that aren’t really relegated towards an actual gaming experience anyways. Just stroking in on the investors and shareholders. That is all.
I just wish I could quit and actually bankrupt all american mega companies. But no. So even unsubbing from blizz, or not going and shopping on amazon. They will still make money. It is so frustrating.
You seem to acknowledge Blizz doesn’t care what you want, yet you keep necroing Wrath Era threads. Some call that the definition of insanity.
They didn’t even ask about Wrath Era in any survey. They don’t care. But I’m sure they appreciate people like you who stay subbed just to spam the same thread every day.
And I read the whole thing. Luckily I have a college education. So I know how to read walls of text, and I do it often.
Not anyone’s fault you cannot read.
I don’t know why people like you won’t even give it a second chance, basing your dislike on something that happened 10 years ago. Classic leveling is badly opimized and slow, Cataclysm leveling is more optimized and is faster because of that.
With Blizzard not doing WotLK Era servers if you still want to play WotLK then your best best is to just go to a private server.
Are you anti-corporate America or something (actual question not an insult)?
Give us lich king classic era servers!
No, but you win second prize. Cata era servers.
why? what is the point? To do icc for the 500th time? To do bgs filled with bots and arenas with scripters? Cool game!
I’m open to see a permanent WoTLK server. I’ve always wanted to see what is lower than (low) next to a server name.
Not sure you will manage to do half of those things as the WotLK era server would be barren, unless they create WotlK mega servers, then it would be probably US central.
I know I will be going to private wrath servers if blizzard refuses. LIke man. I been asking. And now I am demanding. Very frustrating how hard we wrath classic players have to fight just for one wrath classic server.
Now, cata pre patch comes out on april 30. Oh well. I am going to keep bugging them until we wrath classic players get what we came here for. I might be demanding. But we asked in the beginning. Just one bloody wrath classic server can’t be that bad or hard to implement.
Could not agree MORE with the OP. I don’t even play right now because of work. However, if I come back - it’s to play WRATH. Please Blizzard. Keep Wrath in tact.
