Please help Outlaw

And you think everything that works outside of the pre-conceived box is a gimmick, which it isn’t.

You’re just making strawman arguments one after another.

Not really. It’s pretty clear you really don’t have a clue what you’re talking about.

Says the guy that whose only argument is spouting ‘gimmick’ at everything.

Can we talk about what kind of changes that could make Outlaw more viable for pvp rather than talking about what’s better. Clearly sub is dominant in pvp content. I just want to see some outlaw love for pvp.

Real simple.

Ghostly Strike is baseline with a Talent to debuff armor. Killing Spree is Baseline with 100% more damage and either; A) is pure Shadow Damage or B) can’t be CC’ed.

Done.

What do you think of my original post here? Ghostly Strike being baseline is basically revealing strike. Killing spree baseline definitely helps but idk if 100% more damage is necessary if it is baseline.

Killing spree will never not have a counter.

It does woeful damage for the CD tied to it, currently. In the current state it can be easily tanked through simple healing.

Overall, I’m rather liking the separation of Between the Eyes as a stun. I’d rather have SnD over Roll the Bones and giving Bandit’s Guile back. Riposte should’ve been baseline.

But if it was just a gimmick, why did they give a counter in the first place?

I Think I can deal with the Between the Eyes separation as long as I don’t have to use both Roll the Bones and Slice and Dice. That is why I think Grand Melee should basically be Slice and Dice with Leech attached and when you Roll the Bones you get Grand Melee and another random buff. I do agree Riposte did feel better then Evasion currently does.

bte should be a cooldown execute with chances for free proccs. roll the bones should be removed. slice and dice should offer recuperation baked in. single target damage should be increased by either making sinister strike hit more often or 6-10% harder. blade flurry should go back to the toggle or have an extended 3yrd range if left as a cd. I would like a more viable defense because feint is extremely lack luster. either buff it from 5 seconds to 8 or lower the cd / energy .

I do not want bandit’s guile guile back. it was a trash mechanic. rather have our damage front loaded than wrapped around gimmick mechanics like bandit’s guile or roll the bones.
if you want revealing strike back as a form of ghostly strike, then tie it into pistol shot and remove the slow from pistol shot.

It’s 2020 and they can balance PvE and PvP separately.

Why not apply a damage inc to single target abilities in PvP instances and nerf blade furry?

I mean the short answer is that it’s work and after BFA, they’ve shown they don’t want to make weekly tweaks, but they have the tools.

Same with specs like BM. Why not divert damage from pets and place more power on player abilities?

Idk if Between the Eyes should be an execute. Assassination already has that with Blindside and Outlaw already has procs with pistol shot. Recuperation Slice and Dice is certainly nice and serves the same purpose as my proposed Grand Melee change. I do think Sinister Strike needs to be more consistent. With the way Between the Eyes works now I think Ghostly strike/revealing strike is redundant. There are some conduits that help with feint uptime so maybe that is the play for survivability but I do think Crimson Vial needs to be reverted.

Doesn’t matter if assassination already has blindside. I am talking about giving outlaw an execute. the extra proccs from pistol shot could be the free charges of bte as far as I am concerned.

HARP spec was the best time for combat pvp I guess

Name one ability in this game that doesn’t have a counter to it.

It has nothing to do with balancing for pve and pvp.

You can’t take a bag of tools designed for
Working on electrical equipment and frame a house with it.

Outlaws toolkit is extremely poor at the the things you want for pvp.

Outlaw has terrible mobility control and no burst damage cd.

Outlaws do NOT need ANOTHER debuff. Part of Outlaw’s biggest problem is all the debuffs and self buffs needed to be applied to be able to even do average dps. They need to add the crit buff from BTE’s to baseline or Dispatch. They also need to fix RtB and restore Crimson Vial. And I really wish they would get rid of SnD or make it a passive. If SnD is required at all times to dps, it shouldn’t be a required upkeep. It would be like making tanks keep up an ability to even be able to hold agro.
