I mean I do this in delves with the candle mechanic.
I’m not wasting candle walking to get brann some measily experience, he can wait until after the delve is complete.

Honestly? Just move the bot to the trash, you can right click > leave delve at any point anyway.
Kind of like: We should be able to just put sloppy designs in … you can deal with it!

As an IT worker with 10+ years of experience:
You can never design a product perfect enough for the least competent end user. It’s impossible. Users will find a way to be stupid. This is clearly no exception.

I oddly have never had a problem with the bot getting in the way, but Brann sure does! 
Also, if he could stop shooting things I’ve stunned, that would be nice.

Both things can be true:
People seem to always find a way to muck it up.
And also (as in this case) you can design something SO POORLY that even a neophyte can look at it and say “this is terrible.”
And when the EXCUSE is “meh, you can deal with it”, I know which is happening here.

Absolutely right. I was struck by how obviously-dumb the placement was almost immediately - the natural placement would be maybe 10-15 feet BEHIND the chests and even in the smallest treasure rooms that’d be fine!

I agree, it is in a bad spot. I’ve almost clicked it myself several times before getting my treasure.
He’s a hunter. He doesn’t really interact with mechanics.

Every time I try to click on a chest to open it, the game selects Brann or his stupid dinosaur as my target…
Usually just go afk for a minute after a delve now so all of Brann’s stuff leaves. Then only have to deal with him getting in my way.

another of my favorites is when he says “I cant miss” and points the big blue arrow as he is lining up his shot and its pointed right at you. So you have to quickly move around to be next to the mob that he is suppose to shoot only to see “I missed”… lol
you want to drop that curio unless you have no choice. You are already bouncing around for mechanics. Adding in aiming for brann is out of the question.
But then that moment where you line it up, only to see “dodge” pop up, it makes it all worth it
Reminds me of my Shadow Priest this weekend in TW. Cast shadow crash and see “RESIST” pop up 2-3 times in the pack.

So it’s not just me, I have to be reeeeaaally carefully about where I click when I’m opening chests, it’s way to easy to click that stupid thing

Never had an issue with this but I have seen the bot glitch out and end up somewhere else at times. Pretty much every time I can loot the chests fine.
