There’s a bunch of long pony tails (with poor clipping), a bunch of long draping hair (with poor clipping) and also the “variety” is actually mostly hairstyles that all fit the same kind of vibe but have slight differences.
We need shorthair options. I love Male Nelf but I play fem Nelf because they actually have short hair options.
as an aside, it also just feels like the amount of customization done for b1/male facial hair overall is just lacking, where are the beards? Why are some of the beard options just kinda amish looking, where’s the full facial hair goatees with puffy beards? Think about it, WoW is the only fantasy series with in lore characters that are humans with super long beards that is not capable of having a human wizard with a long beard.
Imagine how complete the Maldraxxus renown armor set would look on a human frost mage with a long beard. You’d look just like Kel’Thuzad or Heigan, or other necromancers.
But yeah mostly this is just about Male Nelf hairstyles. Some shorthair options akin to some human hairstyles would be nice.

Edit 2 : Completely unrelated but the Purple plate helmet on the trading post this month clips into female night elf faces so you can see skin poking out on one side of the helmet (the left, or “your” right). It looks bad despite being such a cool helmet
