You’ll be raid logging in P4 as well 5-6 weeks into it like we are right now unless they add new content worth doing long term which is unlikely.
Hate to bring you bad news, but Cata Classic will be out next week, which means this will last another 2-3 weeks after that which is intended to stagger the dopamine launches.

The same thing that happened with Phase 3 will happen with Phase 4.
With Phase 3, all Phase 4 news was put on hold for Plunderstorm promotion.
Phase 4 it’s already happening with Cataclysm Classic.
We’ll get news for Phase 5 on the week of the 26th with launch of Phase 5 the week after.

Molten Core
Important End-game reputation grinds such as Throium Brotherhood and Hydroxian
+Whatever unforseeable new content
At a base vanilla level, Phase 4 will have substantially more content. Not sure how the two are comparable.

This phase feels dry af because everyone was gifted a free level 50 + a bunch of gold + a full set of pre-raid gear from 1 day of incursions.
This was repeatable on multiple characters.
i had 5 chars maxed, a bunch of gold and ready to raid literally week 1.
When the design allows this kind of stuff to happen obviously the game will feel very dry by week 5, especially when ST loot is kinda meh (caster gear is basically barely an upgrade on gnomer drops).
Everyone i know is raid logging or already mostly bis and cannot fathom the motivation to keep logging on.
p4 can’t come soon enough, and when it does, there absolutely should NOT be a way to power level to 60 in the same way we’ve just had via incursions.
At least Onyxia is still 40man, right?
the 50+ incursions are already in the game.
What are the chances we get a new phase before july?
Cata release end of May, they’re not gonna drop a new SOD phase right when cata drops right?
They probably think cata drop gives them some time to work with and can drop phase 4 when cata dries up a bit?
I’m curious to see what content you expect to have more at 60… you’ll be raid logging in 3-4 weeks then again.
This is the most anti alt version of wow ever created. Not only do I need to level up, I need to grind WSG rep, AB rep, incursion rep, and STV rep. I also need to collect 20+ runes, and I need to complete several large quest chains for BIS tradeskill recipes.
Hell no. I have 3 kids, a mortgage and a full time job. I barely have time for one char let alone several others.

New phase is in a month. They clearly said the xp buff would be activated at mid-phase and it’s been activated tuesday.

SoD is not ALT friendly in any way. No QoL features, no account wide gains nothing.
