Once I disconnect (usually in tww zones) I disconnect CONSTANTLY for the ENTIRE rest of the night. And to think I just bought a year’s sub for this garbage too. Fix your game.

Yeah I’ve got this problem in Classic and Retail. Blizz support hasn’t been much help and I dont know what to do
After being AFK for a few minutes or traveling to a new zone, suddenly, I can’t attack anything or do anything. I’m still in the game, but I can even log off. This never used to happen to me.

This is happening to me as well. It has been an intermittent issue since at least The War Within came out and it is really frustrating. It is happening to so many people it is definitely an issue. Please fix this!

More than likely it’s your ISP and the way they route your internet traffic to the USA among other factors like cables getting water in them etc. if it where blizzards problem there would be millions of people complaining all at once and not not over a few over months like this has been.
There have been quite a few “accidents” insert dr. evil air quote meme involving underwater cables lately, so it wouldn’t surprise me if other routes are having to pick up the traffic. The main backbones of the internet are almost always going to prioritize commerce and streaming traffic over gaming traffic. Even if the traffic is encrypted, basic heuristic algorithms can sense that the data is high packet rate, but low packet size and can easily deduce that it’s likely gaming traffic. Which they can then throttle or lower in the queue priorities. Then there’s also the ISP part of the route and they have their own sets of rules and data priorities as well.
Moral of the story, this is a routing issue and not likely a Blizzard issue.
