It’s a bug according to YOU. You have said in this thread that when mobs attack you the pets are supposed to aggro. Many times, they do not. They just stand there. So YOU have already admitted that they are bugged even if you personally have not encountered it.
bruh, his brain is a hamster wheel lol, literally not even worth replying to anymore, if he could read simple english he’d understand that’s not what I’m talking about but meh
For why they randomly attack stuff, I believe they get an aggro range, like mobs do. So when you run through an area with lower level mobs, they will aggro from really far away. Needs more testing, but that’s what I’ve observed.
As for why they aren’t attacking when stuff is hitting you, it does seem like a bug. But they always attack my target when I start melee auto attacking, so you should be able to do that as a workaround.
I would really like at least a passive button so I could call them away from attacking. Not too fun when you set some on a bear and a son of arugal is pathing through there. Better just start running now lol
I imagine this could end up an even bigger problem for later dungeons and raids.
I know that can happen sometimes but even on this session alone, I’ve been playing for a couple hours and it’s happened twice with just neutral mobs, literally just running past them not doing anything and they will start to attack one out of nowhere, then when it’s dead they will run to the next closest and attack that one and I’m just like, ok? little murderous. and the not attacking when I get hit also only happens like, maybe once out of every 10ish pulls, but it’s still very obvious and apparent that they should be attacking but aren’t
I really love this ability and it did take me a little bit to understand what I needed to do to get them to attack everything that I am fighting, but once you understand how they work it’s very powerful.
it’s entirely proximity based, they’ll attack random mobs you never touched or got attacked by, and never attack ranged mobs hitting you unless you run right up to them
I don’t even play this class, and can tell you are a clueless troll that doesn’t have even a basic understanding of what an edge case condition is.
