The current version of WoW (Both retail and Anniversary) are on an entirely different engine from the OG Vanilla engine.

No you can’t. You’re in a UBRS group, and the other 9 glitch through the door. You either go with or drop group. When it’s everywhere (and it is), you either glitch or skip UBRS. It is what it is. I closed my account over it. Everyone who likes it stays. That’s how the market works. But don’t pretend this is “just ignore me and do your thing” issue.

Actually I quit because I noticed that most of the fresh players were bragging about buying gold, or taking advantage of glitches, or the kind of people who post stupid stuff like you did, and just decided I didn’t feel like being part of that group.

It’s wild how many people openly admit to cheating(buying gold) and don’t see how it’s bad for the entire server when they cheat(buy gold).

You pretend the door skip is game breaking but they kill the stuff anyway. What are you so worried about. Do we get to do ony without killing 4 dragons and going to every corner of the earth? Can you do naxx at friendly?

Door skip is an exploit.
Exploits are on the same level as buying gold dog.

They’re both cheating they’re just different kinds of cheating.

You don’t even have to kill the four dragonkin in the second room after the UBRS door itself, you just have to kill enough that you can logout at the second door(and the third door to the rookery since that boss only has a couple drops people want).

So if they remove the door skip you add what 5mins to your run? This meant as game breaking as people make it out to be. Also now instead of just skipping the door someone will make thousands of gold selling there key and leaving group once they open it

How do you get into UBRS without the key that almost nobody is bothering to get because of the door skip?

Speaking for myself:
I went out of my way to get the UBRS key specifically so that I as a rogue could actually find groups.

I didn’t say it was worse I just said regardless no one is going to be getting the key. The only reason it’s so game breaking I assume, is that people are skipping a few runs.

It’s game breaking because it’s every door not just UBRS.
It works in SFK.
It works on the SM doors.
It works in UBRS.
It works anywhere where there’s a door intended to stop you from progressing unless you meet the requirements.

well its a prisoner’s dilemma kinda thing though. It’s best for everyone if no one buys gold, but it’s the worst for you if everyone buys gold and you don’t the safe road is just to buy gold.

I mean it’s a similar thing except when someone exploits the stairs with reverse long jumps on Super Mario 64 it only impacts their gameplay it has no impact on everybody else on the server.

If you logout skip into UBRS and get all of your drops you’ve got an advantage over anyone who isn’t willing to cheat.

It doesn’t matter if it’s UBRS or RFC.
It’s an exploit and needs to be fixed.

No the best course of action isn’t to cheat the best course of action is to stop playing entirely if cheating gets so bad that everybody is doing it.

Why you think you can speak on behalf of “everyone” though?
I prefer getting keys and being as prepared as possible for my runs.
And I would definitely prefer exploits weren’t the norm.
