As much as I don’t care for carry services, I actually agree with the OP. They really do need to sit down and DEFINE what spam is rather than make it a feeling that changes from day-to-day or person to person.
It’s bogus to expect people to fall within guidelines of something that doesn’t have strict guidelines
It does matter, actually? Seems they, and the blues know a lot more than you do. Especially since you’ve already shown disregard for rules anyways, it seems very fitting.
This isn’t true. There’s already a thread on the front page of someone who is complaining that his advertisement squelch was turned into a chat suspension.
People do not want to see the spam, regardless of what the content of said spam is.
There’s no need for insults here. Mirasol knows more about the policies than nearly any other poster I’ve ever seen. Their information is always accurate.
That’s all you’ve done when you popped in here, you’re the one with arguments that got debunked by people that actually work at the company whereas you have anecdotal evidence and your opinion. But hey, I don’t mind you digging yourself a second hole.
rofl no one here works at blizzard that isn’t a blue poster. false reports get overturned because most people being reported are following the rules. crazy what you know when you’ve advertised for years now with communities. hint: it’s more than you guys who’ve done nothing.
also just a random fact is I’ve never actually gotten silenced/squelched before lol which is funny.
you might be mistaking me for someone else then. the person I responded to initially and the part I highlighted was not a quote of a blue post.
yes it is because the repeated message isn’t all that matters matters, it’s also how often you do it. The Trade Chat limit is 2 messages every 2min, but you’re not suppose to post the same thing in that time, this is true. However, you can post the same thing if you wait longer (3-5min was the time I waited).
Again, I’ve never been squelched or silenced.
Unlikely. I stopped advertising for a while now and did more of the raid boosts. Now that communities are gone, I’ll be back to advertising more than likely. I know a lot of high end raiding guilds who would love to continue sales.
Unlucky! This change will bring more of me. See you soon on Moon Guard Alliance when they bring cross faction stuff too, mainly for PVP sales tho.
Whilst i agree he was disrespectful, the poster quoting the blue was misinformed.
But if you have more insight then a boost community leader who dealt with hundreds of appeals for silences, suspensions ect and interactions with the game masters… power to you.
When you are silenced or suspended (automatically)… any advertiser will use a live chat or callback to get a instant response (atleast pre-covid when always online, now ticket forces a wait often)… which is why abuse scaled higher.
During these, game masters would apologise, overturn and suggest ‘posting a little less’ ‘posting with gold only in macro’ or something else irrelevant, and you’d be on your way.
Hell, i have had a single day where i needed THREE appeals. That was BFA though.
They won’t get banned. They’re not violating the terms of service if they are doing it as individuals or a guild local to that server. You might want to re-read the blue posts on this topic.
