You are not that important and the sooner you realize that the better off you will be in life and this game. If you stopped playing absolutely nobody would care and your “friends” would just move on.
When you die you will be forgotten within 100 years by all and it will be like you never existed.

Player versus player content has the same issues. You believe spec X is a mathematically correct choice, learn it and gear it, and then the math changes to make it comparatively bad when facing the new “good specs”. Large changes in the middle of a pvp season are also annoying. If what I want to play is good, and then it gets amazing design or tuning buffs, someone else out there is very upset. Unlike the teamwork to kill dungeon bosses and raid bosses, players fighting each other makes proper balancing before the season starts, and finding ways to not upset balance during a season matter even more
