The language barrier in normal BGs is a benefit.

Can someone explain why I am being put in Aussie server groups in every bg I join? 2 second delay makes pvp impossible. Is there a way to opt-out of playing with non-US servers? I’d rather wait twice as long for a bg pop if it meant I could actually play the game without massive delay on everything

Totally agree and this has been the single most annoying thing about WoW for years now. Oceanians should not be allowed to play with people from the US and North America. It’s bad enough that we have to play with people from Latin servers because they are considered “US” and their latency isn’t the greatest but having to play with Oceanians is a joke. My latency goes from 20 to 350+ when I’m in a group with an Oceanian lead and there is this ridiculous lag as it gets worse and worse and eventually gets unplayable. Then what’s even worse is even if you leave you somehow end up stuck in their realm and have to hearth back to a capital city and then restart the game to reset the latency.

Oceanians are on the other side of the world, they have their own servers. They should be excluded from playing with people from North America. We want to play with people in our region with our latency, not people from half a world away who have their own servers anyway and can play amongst themselves.
