I can tank in a yeti costume.
That single statement basically invalidated your argument. lol
Edit: Oh, not to mention all of the cloth that has more plate on it than actual plate sets… or the Stormwind guard set.

Hi.
Casters in plate don’t look silly, it seems you haven’t played other fantasy games. Warriors wearing robes isn’t silly either, lots of cultures use less heavy armor and more light armor to be a more agile warrior. Also, for raiding last time I checked tank bears are in “bear form” and I could tank the raid with just the ogrimmar shorts and a sword on my orc. Your argument is invalid which how much freedom have already in game but there is so much potential for more options and role play. If anyone wants to wear leather as a warrior let them. If anyone wants to wear plate as a rogue let them, it doesn’t affect you at all. You got unitframes, focus frames and nameplates to find someone on a bg or raid.
Everyone is a Caster when hearthing.
Besides, it’s just your personal opinion. Some people think Draenai look silly. Some hate Vulpera. Oh well.
Role play them invisible, then ignore them. Solved.
Ehh idk about this honestly. Personally, I think mages, priests, and locks wearing plate is dumb. But you guys have given great points on why limitations don’t really need to exist anymore.
Despite that, I still want some limitations.
Thats where legion artifacts and tier sets come in, those belong to class identity, and my system would require you to use a cloth class to unlock cloth armor for your plate classes. It is restricted by effort, the limit is leveling another character, and getting the item, it encourages play, bolstering the community of transmog runs.
Can’t say I have ever heard of this being used as a reason. Regardless, not everybody will get, or even use heritage armor. It is probably a very small part of the overall player base.
Again, this is a new “excuse” to me. Like you said, Legion artifacts were the first items that were signature giveaways. Even then, many people mogged them plus the skins that people would get could make them unrecognizable to many.
This makes no sense at all as an excuse or a counter to it.
Relax all transmog restrictions!
Pandas are a better counter argument to this point, as they exist on both factions. I dont differentiate faction with player race anyway. That is health bar and name color.
Remove level restrictions while they’re at it. Bank alts need some love too.
I’d also like to see some common items Tansmoggable like the Simple Black Dress.
I do want to tank in a tux and top hat.
I’ve heard of this one before. It’s not just heritage and the yeti suit that mess with this idea though. As a pally, I can transmog myself to look like a warrior or a deathknight. People can also just mog themselves into generic non-class specific plate as well.
Let’s not act like anything in this game is balanced around PVP though. See corruptions in PVP.
I’m for this. I want to wear the BRF plate set at level 1
I can already wear shortpants and no top if i want too, dresses aren’t really different
I like this idea. It would open up more avenues for players to customize their toon even more.
Also this my Warriors mog somehow maybe because of the sword and shield people can still tell I’m a warrior
Don’t you think it’s a bit late for that?
In Shadowlands, all mog is available at level 10 I think. Except for Shadowlands-specific stuff.
You have way more faith in people than I.
Kudos.
Agree. /10
