Nerf? How? Zone in and sit in something that does a ride version of the Delve? Like at theme parks?

What I recently learned is that Delves don’t provide gear according to the level completed. It’s always 554. The only way to get good gear is with keys.

This leads to the following situation: At best, you can get 5 keys per week. Eventually, they will be available for purchase, but not in the near future.

It’s going to be slow progress. Doing a level 6 with a key to get gear and slowly moving up in levels.

I don’t have a problem with that. The reality is that I don’t have time to do anything else. But there are many people who want things to be fast.

You’re right and I think non bounty should go up to 571.

Despite that, crafting already let’s people get 590 on any slot they want using trivially acquired materials so it’s very easy to bypass lower delves and go straight at the 6-7-8s.

Wait, delves aren’t build around your class and spec? I’ve not paid much attention to how they worked exactly but I though they gave a challenge to the player with the assumption a mage tower type experience.

except you have to run through each level to unlock the next. You will need to to tier 3-5 to get to tier 6-7-8.

Yes, to clarify I meant bypass getting stuck / needing to spend keys gearing in lower delves.

You also only need to level 1 delve to 8 to have access to all the others. It takes maybe an hour.

Tuning passes may be needed but I generally agree. I don’t want delves to go the way of the dodo from raiders and mythic+ people saying we have no right to things cause our content is easy. Keep it difficult, but tune the classses as needed in the cases where they may struggle. Rather that is by different delve gear that helps them out in different ways, or by curios, or simply changing brann a little based on spec. But always prioritize the overall challenge. Fair play also means content is fairly challenging equal to the rewards.

The delves seem to rotate between objectives. Say one will have you rescuing people and the next day you’re looking at finding treasure with more mobs or obstacles. However, they do not change with Class or Spec in my experience.

Give tanks a debuff to make them equal to everyone else.

Honestly it’s not going to be that crowd causing complaints. With perspective of doing harder content / other pillars of the game delves are roughly comparable to other content that award the ilvl they do, which in the grand scheme of things isn’t that difficult.

It’ll be the people who have never previously done other pillars outside of world content, and are encountering “difficulty” as a concept for the first time in WoW. Some will play at their level, some will rise to a challenge, I suspect many will want the content brought down to them though.

Just a reminder to save your keys until you unlock delve 8s which might be a bit tough but can e completed around the 580+ ilvl and they drop the best loot with keys we can currently get, if you saved enough keys you can skip mythic 0s unless you need a trinket.

Did they ever make them scale with the number of players?

On beta a 10 delve felt exactly the same to me (actually, if not easier) with 2 other people in my group as it did solo in terms of incoming damage.

I assumed it was because they wanted to turn it up past 10, you know.

Don’t disagree, it can be easy to fall into the trap that “the issue isn’t me, it’s the game.” we all want to believe we are doing things right. It’s hard for a individual to look at themselves and see their own errors. But I also think theres gonna be a fair amount of legitiment complaints given its solo content and no all classes are created equal. But I regress. Your correct in that it’s likely to happen, I just hope the challenge remains to not give those that do group content validity in not wanting us to have solo content.

The D4 swap is funny because they insisted on it being an open connected world with other players all around and then what, 85% of the playerbase plays solo?

But muh expensive cosmetics! You have to see other people’s cosmetics and be jealous.
Come guys, be jealous.

Before i talk about if they need to be nerfed or not, im going to have to actually play them.
For all i know a tier 5 will be impossible to beat. Or it will be a walk in the park.
Its not out, i really cant judge the tuning.

I would say that scaling is very off.
Today I played Delve: Earthcrawl Mines Tier 1 with two different characters. Both got to final boss (Web General Ab’enar) and it’s health points were different.
Entered the delve, solo with ilvl 553.9 BM Hunter and the boss’s health was at 9.87m.
Then entered the delve, solo with ilvl 557.8 Guardian Druid and the boss’s health was at 8.39m

At Tier 1 the boss’s health should be the same no matter who you’re using against them when fighting solo. As you progress higher in Tier level should be the only time the boss’s health increase.

Agreed, to be honest the circles I frequent have either been indifferent to positive towards its inclusion. It’s only a few weirdly vocal people on the forums who seem to object, and those people aren’t particularly pushing the current content pillars anyway.

What I want is for the difficulty to be roughly equal to that of other content that awards that ilvl, and given that ilvl is 603 which is roughly comparable to a m+ 4-5, that seems about where they are at.

My gaming motto has always been “Life is Stressful. Games shouldn’t be”. I like your attitude of ‘relaxing, not taxing’, too!
