Please don't nerf delves

I think Blizzard will add too much annoying stuff like that exploding shroom the higher we go.

Ppl are going to get mad , its inevitable :smiling_imp:

I mean look at M+ players , these guys cry every Tuesday of different affixs

I’m pretty surprised there arent many posts from the “healer only” players about delves. They are pretty awful for healers, unfun and tedious.

Tanks on the other hand, basically get a free pass (as is the case for most things).

Overall difficulty still remains to be seen, but I cant imagine delves going through the season without some amount of tuning (usually this will be nerfs in some areas).

such a shame.

I just hope the balance is more like torghast than mage tower. Meaning with enough ilevel even delve cap is soloable. mage tower being always difficult regardless of gear was too much especially for cosmetic only rewards.

I have two plate toons and a priest at 80 with decent level gear, and I just figured I’d skip delves on the priest.
Yes it’s probably doable with a lot of work, but it’s a quarter of the effort for the BDK and the RPally.
Not really worth complaining about or looking for changes.

Blizzard’s been pretty clear they would seem to prefer it we not play priests this season.

idk, as a healer I just pull everything and aoe it down… guess it’s different on a class by class basis.

Solo content wouldn’t be necessary if the community wasn’t so awful especially to new players.

I… don’t really see how this works. Like, at least on paladin if I just run in as holy and pull the whole dungeon im stuck heal tanking for an eternity while bran does his near 0 dps and consecrate slowly whittles things down. Or I could go prot or ret and run the place over in half the time or less depending on the objectives. It doesnt feel remotely close to equal.

Odd, my brann consistently destroys packs with his volley or the hammers, I just gotta make sure to tank stuff on his aoe while also doing my own aoe, I don’t really pull the whole dungeon but I don’t gotta stop at all since I got infinite mana anyways and as long as I keep brann in combat and healthy he buffs his own damage a lot.

I got my glaives on my DH 30 ilvls under recommended in the Mage Tower after 98 tries.

metrics dont lie

their shift toward also catering to the solo and casual crowd is evident there was metrics telling them to do it…

nowadays every other MMO has swaths of single player content

Thanks for that info, John Madden :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Pulls off a decent Madden impersonation: “If you can get the ball past the goal-line, then it’s a touchdown!”

correct, and I am happy to throw disposable income to those competitors for their solo content because it’s fun.

Remains to be seen if Bliz is serious about it in WoW though.

they obviously want that solo player money, but they’re going to have to give up some of their long standing stubbornness to keep it.

Then why don’t all these people who were supposedly treated awful play with each other since there are supposedly so many of them?

Wowhead is recommending item level 603 or higher for Tier 8, but I may be able to do it as a tank with Brann as a healer so long as I go slow and steady. I’m ready to push this content as high as I can when maintenance is over.

It’s nice to have something to do when your friends are at work or it’s late and no one is online.

Incorrect, Delves were designed for casual to progression… They have rewards that scale up to end game (or near end game)

If they nerf mythic raids over time ,they will obviously nerf delves over time

They 100% are going to nerf Delves… its not even close. They will be gutted by 50-60% in a few weeks. Maybe more.

People will expect to walk into 8s today and be shocked that they are getting absolutely clapped and lose their minds.

Willing to bet 100k gold there are massive nerfs to delves in the next 2 weeks.

you aren’t going to do them anyway so what does it matter.

Community is a part of it, sure, but it’s a complex problem. While the WoW community could be better, ultimately giving solo options is really good regardless. When I come back after a hiatus, I don’t need to mentally freak out about whether I’m going to suck really hard and bring someone down – I can do a lot of practice at my own pace solo, get rewarded for it, and without going brain numb from multiple iterations. WoW is probably the most complex MMO of its type and it really needed this.
