Ig inviting isn’t the right word, but beckoning to go adventure. I’d say all of them have that feel except for Cata and BfA (from the past ones). The new one is just

Eh, to be honest it’s pretty bad. Seeing the login screen for the expansion should make you feel excited to play. This is just cover art. There are so many creative directions they could’ve gone with the planetary theme, this just feels pretty phoned in so far.

Don’t despair, I have a friend at Sports Illustrated and he has assured me that there will be 4 pages dedicated to TWW’s login screen in their prestigious “Login Screen” edition. Not only that, but I hear a nomination for “Best Login Screen” at the Oscars is a possibility.

It’s not knocking my socks off. But also it’s just the log in screen. I don’t spend a lot of time there.

No, but I’d argue things like this go a long way in tying the feel of a game together. It’s why millions of people download better loading screen art and title screens for Skyrim, it helps set the mood and gets you a little more excited to log in. Sure, maybe to different extents for different people, but I went crazy over the DF login screen when I first logged in for the expac.
It just feels…kinda phoned in, and that’s not something I’m used to saying about WoW’s login page. It just bums me out a bit. Can’t perfectly articulate why, but it does. Especially if it’s going to be functionally the same image for all three expansions in the saga.
I mean, how cool was it logging back into Classic to see that original login screen and music? It’s super memorable. Like the image of the expansion you’re greeted with every time you log in, I feel like it should be given a bit more love.

Maybe not white and yellow font colors? Or decrease transparency of the email/phone and password text boxes.

I really am hoping it’s transitional, and we’re getting a zone screen instead.
