It will feel awful because you won’t get much reward from going into VF due to the limits on insanity generation without all the borrowed power. And yes its bad design for classes to feel really bad once that borrowed power gets removed.

I just can’t agree with you, sorry. I see nothing wrong with them giving their opinion much like you have.
The reason i hate voidform is not about gameplay, it’s just about the visuals.
It’s a lazy purple smoke, that hides all the transmog set.
I didn’t realize you were talking about hypothetical what if scenarios coming after azerite/corruptions went away. From the post above it sure sounds like you think it’s punishing and feels awful when you currently, right now on live, drop out of VF…I just questioned why
I see the only thing you want to do is argue about people expressing opinions.
I will agree the visuals is ugly as well. I also hate the glyph changes. I mean, the Hearthsteed used to really stand out in voidform. Now you have to apply a glyph for that same effect.
EDIT: Seriously, if you haven’t seen the hearth steed under the shadow form effect … its worth applying the glyph. It really makes all the fine details on the mount stand out.
I guess I can see how you’d see that, but I tried stopping it a while ago and I don’t particularly want to start a new one either.
Well, if you’re blind then you’re blind.
It’s like it’s AN OPTION or something. YEAH. WE. AREN’T. FORCED. TO TAKE VOIDFORM. WHEN IT DOESN’T. MAKE. SENSE.
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!
Guess what? A lot of us DO NOT WANT IT FORCED ON US!!!
Take it if you want the mechanics. Take it. Take your clunky play style if you ENJOY the system. So many of us didn’t. Now we are free!!!
I agree, I love void form as it is and hope that Blizzard leaves it as is. Perhaps make a glyph for those that don’t like it.
Kill it. Kill it with all your heart and soul. Cut void forms head off and s>>t down it’s neck.
I mean right now even if you can get back into VF easily, you still lose a ton of DPS if you have to run out or whatever due to less stacks of CoI and Lingering Insanity. You also can’t really plan around timings as well as other CDs because you’ll overcap on Insanity. It definitely feels more punishing than a lot of other specs.
I approve. Kill void form. Its not fun. Its not hard. Its overly punishing for stupid reasons.
I like voidform and will be using it permanently as my talent option.
Well guess what? They already said there is a talent that will let that mechanic live onward
But it is. A lot of priest players hate this diet-affliction that was shadow before Legion.
VF >>>>>> Any other iteration.
If they remove Voidform, I might actually play my Shadow Priest in Shadowlands.
Current VF serves no purpose. Many didn’t enjoy Legion’s high risk-high reward nature of holding stacks and hope that some mechanic doesn’t screw up your whole rotation for the entirety of an encounter. The same nature of that version of VF is what made Spriest so unviable in M+, their low mobility and extremely high ramp up time and negligible damage compared to the amount of skill and gear required to make the spec work correctly was simply a bit too much.
Problem is, that Blizzard made losing VF early not nearly as impactful, by completely breaking the whole spec.
Please kill Void Form, Blizzard.
Eviscerate it.
There are so many issues with Shadow Priest stemming back from their rework in Legion, and Voidform was the root cause of most of it. Because of Voidform, Shadow Priests have been near-useless in M+, PvP, and even certain raid fights. What you’re asking for is for Shadow to not be fixed whatsoever, and remain terrible, simply because you don’t want to lose the current iteration of voidform, nor accept a compromise.
That’s unreasonable. Fortunately, they’re not likely to change their minds. You’ll get the closest to current voidform you can have with the rework, and the majority of those who like Shadow Priest will all end up being able to actually play Shadow Priest finally.
