Yes, but Gallywix is the only goblin to sacrifice other goblins to get rich. No other goblin has tried to take everything from me and then get me killed. Even Marin Noggenfogger who sat in the Treasure room of The Hall of Shadows gave me rewards for bringing stuff back to him. Unless the Goblin was a boss in a dungeon, or a raid, I can’t name a regular goblin aside from Gallywix who has oppressed his fellow goblins more. And “fellow” is a polite term.
You do know Erevien does not care in the slightest. He just wants the Horde to be the opposite of the Alliance and be the main instigator of all of Azeroth’s problems.
Except Goblins made the armor what was on Deathwing.
I do. I also know Horde characters on this forum are known for posting wild stuff for attention too. But much like the other posters, I wanted to humor him too.
oh I get it now.
Erevien’s mad because Gazlowe isn’t “edgy” enough for him. Gazlowe is about unionized workers and people getting paid compensation for bodily harm, instead of sending a cash-on-delivery “care package” of company merchandise to the bereaved.
also proof that Erevien never played classic and only wants to jump onto perceived bandwagons to stir up attention and get people posting in his threads. Gazlowe’s less-wasteful behavior is what set him apart from other goblins even when he ran Ratchet and the reason Thrall trusted him to design Orgrimmar in a way that wouldn’t leave it falling apart at the seams to save on money.
To be fair, I know a lot of people say horde live in mud, but they are jealous that is actually cob, and cob stays warm in winter with lil heating, and cool in summer with no air conditioning. Personally, I think it was brilliant to use cob, I just wish Org had more cob pizza ovens.
No, definitely not. He wasn’t even a real leader for the Goblins.
Well the horde already is that.
What? Be opposite of the Alliance or be the main cause of all of Azeroth’s problems? Because most people will say the Horde is neither of those. What people want of the Horde is for them to be “We must destroy the Alliance at all costs and despoil Azeroth, making it a barren wasteland similar to Hellfire Peninsula or the Blasted Lands.”
That is our track record, we have always known we were playing the bad guys, but after 20 years the player base got soft and whiny and now we have to pretend they have always had good intentions.
Not all the characters in this game are like that in any way you can actually specify lmfao, and I’m not making up anything.
was gonna reply with a thought out reply that made sense, but then i realized its just erevien trying to rage bait again
Gallywix is a bit of a special case. We’ve wanted him dead since the Goblin start zone. Thrall letting him be the Goblin leader was weird.
Blizzard told us we are better. But they never showed it in the game.
Metzen wrote the horde leadership as a bunch of villains who banded together to protect themselves from justice originally. Basically of all the original warcraft horde leaders, only Thrall was a “good guy” and he basically got pushed out by the others over time.
Keep in mind that the Tauren were an Alliance unit prior to just before the end of the last RTS warcraft games and only got pushed into the horde for gameplay reasons.
Making stuff up now are we.
… are you an Ere alt for false flag operations?
Look it up.
They were in the night elf army, because of their love of Cenarius.
It wasnt until the end of WC3 where they allied with the new horde under Thrall specifically. They didn’t trust warmongers like Saurfang, or the Kalimdor Trolls, or the undead, or goblins especially.
Basically, WoW lore from after Metzen left is revisionist history.
The horde were never the good guys.
You had cannibals, undead mass killers, capitalist dictators, literal Orc Hitler (Grommash), and worse in WoW alone not counting the RTS horde who aside from Thrall, Vol’jin, and Cairne Bloodhoof (and the Tauren, who were not horde units until the last game), were literally all genocidal maniacs who planned to kill eachother off after the war ( except the goblins, they wanted to switch sides to neutral/alliance).
Without Thrall and Zul’jin, if it weren’t for gameplay reasons, the Tauren would have left the horde and joined back with the alliance and the vulpera ( WoW only race) would have done the same.
Keep in mind wailing caverns is still just a bunch of night elves from when the Tauren were still allied with them, and in classic WoW, the Tauren still worked side by side with night elves to banish the Grimtotem.
Keep telling yourself that it ain’t true.
You know, normally i would agree with that, the Horde has lost way too many leaders after they’ve gone mad or turned evil, however I kind of hate Gallywix and i really want to kill him, so this one time I’m OK with it lol
