No. Flying has been a core feature of WoW since it’s very first expansion. It’s here to stay. Get over it already… there’ve been 8 expansions now, so it’s not like you haven’t had time to accept the reality of flying.

I finished every quest in that zone while thinking “god gods, I can’t wait til I can fly” the entire time. Neat zone and all, but who the heck thought windy paths and a mob density that would make a sardine can blush was a GOOD idea. -_-

it’s not just the windy paths there is so many slopes. It’s the most poorly designed area. Personally I favor maldraxxis, it’s nice flat circle for the most part.
I just made the decision today that I won’t be doing any treasure quest until I can fly. I hate all “jumping” puzzles.

That and the majority of MMORPGs that had mandatory PVP fell flat on their faces and didn’t do very well. The petty betty in me kinda wants even faster flying to spite the more fanatical WPVP camp.

This isnt a valid argument in a multi-player game.
I was always for flying before, but I actually really like the game right now with no flying. I wouldnt mind staying grounded for this expansion.

It’s like you people want the mass exodus to actually occur.
Too many people want flying. It’s done. It’s over. We tried this and the reaction was so intensely vitriolic and averse to this that Blizzard had to publicly admit shame and failure and walk it back.
Get over it. Make war mode no flying if you want, that’s fine.
The world will not feel alive and full if you remove flying from the game. The other half of the players who make the world feel that way? We’ll be gone and you’ll never have a full and alive world because you’ve lost all those players.
Jesus. All this for like 5 minutes of a fleeting experience that won’t even exist in a month or two. The game world is static; there’ll be nothing to explore, nothing new to see, and no value to the infinite running around doing the same stuff over and over; who cares if people get to fly over it when it’s nothing interesting anymore?

Yes it is. In a mult player game people are free to play how they want. If someone doesn’t want to fly, they don’t have to.

In a multiplayer game, it’s a completely valid complaint that other people are using a transport system you dislike; there are a lot of reasons people play MMOs.
But whether or not you have a valid reason to dislike the effect, it’s just flat not a good enough reason in the weight of numbers. People unsubscribe when they have to wait too long for flying. And then they don’t come back in many cases.
One of the reasons I play WoW is to fly. I really like being able to fly in an RPG. And when I cannot fly in relevant content, I don’t play. I’m willing to wait until 9.1, but if they push it to 9.2 or later I’ll be gone, just like I did in BFA and Legion.

It is never valid to complain about people doing things you don’t like as long as it’s not harming you. Other player flying does not directly harm you. It’s not a valid complaint.
“I don’t like you doing things I don’t like you doing,” is the penultimate invalid complaint.

One of the reasons you can play an MMO is for a sense of community. We’re talking about a paid service, not simply existing. This isn’t a question of natural rights. We all opt in to the service.
It’s just that, if that’s what you want – play a different game.

Flying is the only thing that’ll keep us interested once we max out our Covs.
Throwing it out just cause a handful of people hate it would just be pure idiocy.
If you don’t like flying, play a game where you don’t have wings.

The lack of FLight paths make me hope flying comes sooner than later. Moving around non Covenant worlds is going to be a pain.
