I was roleplaying in Orgrimmar with my friend when this male tauren came up to us and just stood on top of us?? We were both sitting down and chatting in Thalassian about the 4th war when this guy literally ruined the moment.
I feel like the game should add in physics to prevent players from standing on top of each other because not only does it not make sense physically but it can completely ruin moments.
My friend and I got up and moved to a different area and the guy followed us. I think he was one of those guys that “troll” RPers for views on YouTube but he completely ruined it. The ONLY thing that got him to stop was that we eventually hearthed to the Silvermoon city inn.
Please do something about this Blizz.

Ok so they add in these physics… how often are Tauren or Bear Druids… or well anyone who can pop world shrinker going to afk in doorways…or portals

As much as I’d love to curb down on the griefers, wouldn’t the inability to phase through players allow people to body block areas of the game?

I mean… hilarious until I couldn’t get what I wanted. 
I fail to understand why people even react to crap like this. When you move, you make it evident that a person who is deliberately attempting to bother you is succeeding.
Ignore them, keep RPing as normal. They’ll leave.
Also, quietly chuckling at the idea of a level 55 DK having any conversations about the fourth war.

That is kind of funny.
I always though it was weird that we can walk through one another. Then after a few years of playing I noticed how players could be complete asshats and it occurred to me that it was a good thing.
How many door ways would be permanently blocked if we couldn’t pass through one another?
If I recall, that was removed (if it ever existed in this game) for the opposite reason:
People would be able to block you getting places, or through doors and such.
It works both ways.

If players were not able to run through or stand on top of one another, you;d see a LOT more trolling. Even game-breaking trolling.

Put them on ignore and dont respond to it. Dont try to move. Just ignore it.
You dont need to see your character models all the time. If you ignore it, they will get bored and go away.
If you try to move, they will see that they are getting a rise out of you and continue to do it.
Just 100% ignore it.

you will feel very differently about that at the next big holiday event, or when you have to get that item from the mailbox, or talk to the auctioneer.

I would say lure them to the nearest PVP zone and handle them in short order… but we can’t kill players of the same faction so… that solution’s out. Is the Toy which turns people into bunnies still available and usable? Instant polymorph without having to be a mage.
Take a moment to consider the game you are role-playing in and look for more secluded places that a random person has a lower chance of interrupting you in.
Otherwise, this is what you have to deal with.
