Oh good, I was wondering when the mental gymnastics gang would show up.
No, you lose AV b/c AT BEST you have half a team who is grossly outgeared fighting, while the other half of the team is on 60% mounts or afk/fishing.
You cannot and will not win a competitive BG with less than half a team, ever. The Alliance will not win with the current rep farm culture ever in the foreseeable future unless the Alliance player base changes – which they won’t. Its a self fulfilling prophecy.
If Horde move the cave back, or changed the GY spawn, or swapped bases or w/e never to happen event in AV – they would still will 99% of games. You know why? Because we stomp the dregs of the alliance, which at this point in time are undergeared alts and afks passively gaining AV rep for gear. No one who is farming honor on alliance would queue for AV b/c you have instant queues in the two other BG’s that give better honor/hour.
You seem to forget one critical fact. In pre-mades VS non-premades the pre-mades almost ALWAYS WIN. Your arugement that its the map doens’t stand up. The simple fact is alliance looses becuase IT JUST DOESN’T CARE.

The all-or-nothing crowd is wrong on both sides. It’s a little from column A, a little from column B. Yes, the map is unbalanced. Yes, the racial abilities tend to make horde a bit better in mass PVP. Yes, a bunch of the alliance playing are on autopilot and not trying.
However, I’ve been in those AV battles and a lot of horde aren’t trying either. I see at least 10-15 horde standing around doing nothing near a battle. Overall, there are probably more horde trying than alliance but it’s not double the number or anything like that.
AV got to this point for many reasons. Alliance didn’t just give up for no reason. It’s an uphill battle with the way AV is set up, the short queues mean that short games where you just give up are better than a long game, and a lot of people got their rep and left. If the faction-related issues were more balanced in the first place then there would be more alliance who are trying to win in AV.
At this point it’s all moot. Small changes to anything aren’t going to get people into AV. It’s going to take large, sweeping changes to convince people to even think about coming back. And those are certainly not going to happen any time soon.
I would really like to have the horde and alliance switch sides for a few weeks just to see what happens
Naw
If ya did ya wouldn’t have rolled easy mode, sweetie
Well if you knew anything about me you would know I have 2 60 Alliance and 1 60 horde.
OOPS lol
Mm k. Well you seem to have gravited toward the easy mode character…
El oh el
Oh wait…I know I know. Aethetics.
Look at that. Not the first time you’re wrong
He said on his wotf rogue
Yes I sure did! lol
Grab at another low hanging fruit kiddo
It’s an easy fruit and a direct counter to you saying you like challenges. Lol
I mean I was almost embarrassed for ya in pointing out the obvious
Because the 25% chance to resist a stun when the majority of players picked rogues and warriors wouldn’t have been meta.
Hey I’m sure you’ve got an orc warrior lying around there somewhere amirite?
Wrong again! It’s actually a lvl 26 Tauren! omg this is just fantastic
The problem isn’t the map or the racials for AV. The map is slightly Horde favored and racials are heavily Horde favored in pvp (but we get paladins, which is generally a bigger advantage in organized pvp), but neither of those are the issue.
The issue is that AV honor per hour is awful for alliance, so good alliance don’t queue for it. Horde rankers do get good honor per hour queueing it along with other BGs, so they do queue for it.
Expecting raids full of 50 somethings, fresh 60s, and fishers to have a greater than 1% win rate against raids mostly full of rankers is silly. If something changed to make AV better honor per hour on alliance, win rates would go up. That won’t happen, so win rates will stay low single digit. Just collect your crystals hold the druids as long as possible until you get exalted, then get out of that hellhole and stay out.

Well color me surprised.
Have ya picked out a name yet for your inevitable blood elf pally though?
Zug zug
I actually really don’t like Paladins. Holy fighters are not my thing. I prefer either evil like DK’s, warlocks and rogues or brute strength like warriors
I’ll take that as a yes, but refuse to share…
