I understand the frustration of all that’s going on. And I understand what people want to do. And I support the actions some people may take. But if you are someone who is planning to protest at Blizzcon be respectful and don’t ruin it for everyone involved. That’s including the staff and the people who attend and are watching.
Remember there are tons of people here that are going there to have fun and some may be going there for their first time. Be respectful for them.
Remember there are tons of the staff at blizzard who are putting there very lives into these games and the company. They are there to show everyone the next plans for their games and the community. Be respectful towards them.
And also almost all of the employees have no say or control of the situation that is going. They are trying to do their best and bring everyone together for an amazing time. Like the WoW team. Ion and his people have nothing to do with the situation. They are there showing the future of the game and bringing everyone together to have fun. Be respectful towards them.
Yes there is a select few who have say and are in control. And I understand what a lot of people want to do. But please be the better person here and be respectful. There is no need to shout and/or say mean things to the staff and others. There is no need block areas off from the people who are just trying to have a good time. There is no need to yell protest stuff while the staff are showing off their presentation. But i do get needing to do something. Wear whatever you want, hold signs about whatever, but please be respectful and be the better person here.
Remember there a lot of people here who are trying to have a good time. Meet up with their life long blizz friends. See the future of the games. The employees are trying to do their best and show the world and the fans whats next. They want everyone here to have fun.
So if you feel the need to do something, just be thoughtful, respectful, and think of others and the staff who have no say/control of the situation.
And most importantly.
BE SAFE, DO NOT HARM/RUIN IT FOR OTHERS, AND LETS HAVE A GREAT BLIZZCON THIS YEAR!!!
