Please Do Not Make Prominent Alliance Characters Forsaken

As a feudalistic monarchy Lordaeron’s rightful rulers would be the Menethils. Good thing Lordaeron doesn’t exist anymore, so by default the rule of the land reverts to the inhabitants.

I’m hoping we will find out at Blizzcon.

Considering that they WERE Forsaken by their kin, just as Derek Proudmoore will most likely be forsaken by his people, it’s still an appropriate term.

Just because a Menethil has appeared out of the woodwork and the armistice which still hasn’t had time for the ink to dry doesn’t mean the last 20 or so years have just been erased.

But don’t you see Etheldald? Their decsion doesn’t make any sense to us because they’re strategic genuises and it’s all a part of their plan, which will only eventually be revealed in a future patch, as long as you’re willing to keep paying to play!

Just like Sylvanas!

It’s BFA Writing 101!

…we’re not idiots desperately making up illogical #### as we go along, we swear!..

That’s why Sylvanas coming back makes so much sense! We’ll fix it later. Just like Illidan

Sylvanas will come back to lead us in the war against the Void Lords, bringing with her the promised Dark Ranger hero class, exclusive to Night Elves and Blood Elves obviously.

Now that’s actually a good idea

What?

No. She didn’t mention Arthas once. It’s because they were forsaken in a general sense, not by Arthas specifically. As a matter of fact, Arthas didn’t forsake them. He enslaved them.

Real question is will she allow us, forsaken, to feed poisionous mushrooms to dwarves and develop new blights and plagues.

  1. We have our own undead now, the death knights. 2) over our dead bodies will you make more forsaken from our dead. That has been one of the reason the Alliance has been at war with the forsaken for so long!

Not all of its residents, to the point one of the flavor text of the post war is a human mentioning he has still always dreamed of returning to Lordearon, now he things that dream might be dead due to the blight, but if it the blight is cleaned up, I expect the Alliance would want that place again.

Your absolutely right. Its an abomination. Calia Menethil should never be a part of the Horde…without a price to be paid.

You know what this means.

We must find the spineless boy King…a Horde bride.

I still vote Xalatath. She, a total psychopath, him, an idealistic peacenik. It’s the ultimate buddy comedy.

And its a name they’ve chosen to keep. You can see it as early as the end of 8.2.5’s quests. “If Sylvanas ever shows her face again we’ll show her what happens to those that betray the Forsaken!!”

That IS how it works, yes.

I think the debate over “Who RIGHTFULLY!” owns Lordaeron is an endless/tiresome battle. People are deeply entrenched in their beliefs but denying that the Alliance have “no reason” or “no right” or “no claim” to that Kingdom is pretty silly. The Kingdom has a lot of historic value to humanity and the Alliance as a whole. There’s survivors of Lordaeron in other human lands. The Alliance still sees Lordaeron as THEIRs. You might not agree or like their reasoning but the Alliance clearly sees Lordaeron as their kingdom and they have reasons to reclaim it.

Or you now, your dead bodies will end up under our feet.

Having the Forsaken’s identity and motivation after all these years being flipped over is very jarring. Now there’s the possibility of someone the Forsaken player has hardly interacted with even at all, suddenly come back after all these years and claim leadership. PC Forsaken have a better claim at this point after everything they’ve accomplished… It’s just jarring.

Why can’t a Commander Belmont or an Apothecary Farenell take leadership? Two characters right there with history and respect within the Horde and Forsaken society, two characters that could be further fleshed out with development. Does everything have to rhyme? A good Sylvanas and a good Nathanos? Who the hell is writing this stuff?

Then we just raise those too.
