We have been, eXposed.
Survival would have to exist in noticeable numbers 1st, but they don’t.
Can’t argue against that one.
In the recent interview with Preach, Ion did make one good point. That there are people who play the game differently than just getting to endgame and pushing the highest tier of content. That the game is also developed to accomodate those styles of play. Specifically, Ion was referring to people who level, gear and progress to the top of their skill level and then say “Ok, Im good on this guy, time to make a new toon.”
I do that, its why I have so many SV hunters (also to try different covenants). To say someone who isnt clearing 10/10 mythic cn or high rated pvp isnt doing something, is indeed subjective, because that makes an arbitrary distinction about what “something” is.
Edit: That is not to say that someone who isnt actively competing at that level should be an authority on how the spec performs at that level.
If you are looking for SV hunters, and your trying to fill your creel, you wanna fish the 50-60 BGs and the random BGs at 60.
Except it’s not subjective. What you’re saying here would be true if the people doing Mythic CN, +15 and higher keys, or super high rated pvp are only doing those things and not doing any of the ‘casual’ content.
I mean, I quick look through both their achievements and it’s immediately apparent that not only does Bepples raid and do M+ at a much higher level than Metroid, but Bepples has done a lot more of the ‘casual’ content as well.
I’m not trying to diminish Bepples’ achievements in any way.
The argument made isnt that Bepples consumes an equal or lesser amount of content. Its that, in absence of achievements higher than 4/10 LFR, the engagement with the game amounts to less than “something”. That is subjective.
This sure is a lot of detailed arguing for what the original response is. The point is that Metroid is only ever going to deliver trolling one-liners so that’s all I’ll give in response. No more thought needs to be put into it. One thing I struggle a lot with on the forums is being tricked into spending way more time and effort than the people I’m arguing against. Metroid is low-effort enough to not bait me into that, though.
