This. So much this. The nanny system that wow now operates under is terrible. Don’t like twinks? Stay off the BGs. Wanna compete in the BGs? Make a bloody twink. Everyone is capable of this. Cease with the nanny demands.

I don’t think there really is anyone who twinks who believes what they’re doing is skilled or competitive. It’s all about taking advantage of the fact that you can overgear yourselves and gib levelers and noobs topped off with not breaking any rules.

I did that on my 19 twink often enough.
Made for some fun fights as I tried to kill 10 people before they could kill me.
Think of it like a surprise raid boss in pvp. Because that’s what it feels like being a twink vs non twinks, your the raid boss.

well old bg didnt give xp so there will only be twinks there and bliz already said they dont care about balancing old world. they could always use templates on the brakets but i don’t see that cause they want it to be like it was.

I don’t really see the need. BGs awarded no experience in Vanilla so they weren’t part of the leveling routine like they are now.

While I completely understand where you’re coming from, I think such requests should be evaluated beforehand with consideration of the audience you’re proposing this to. The majority of people who frequent this forum are so stuck in their ways and want no changes whatsoever for reasons that still remain unclear to me.
With that being said, lets imagine changes like this are made. The hardcore-no change community will always over dramatize the significance of ANY change regardless of it’s positive or negative intentions.
TL;DR this community is a bunch of whinny neckbeards who genuinely have nothing better to do than gripe about something that is NOT DESERVED. Playing classic will be A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT.
@OP - Give me a reason for twinks to queue for non-twink bg’s other than so you can plow through non-twinks in those bg’s. Because honestly, what other reason could there be? Why would you not want to prove your prowess against other twinks, who are more likely to have more skill than non-twinks?
I started twinking because there were players who were both better than me, and they had better gear drops and selections. I didn’t have any real gold even though I had a max level character, I only used enchants that my character at 19 could herself enchant. I only bought cheap boe greens, the Defender set with gold she acquired on her own, and grinded bgs to get the weapon and neck. A level 19 can find ways to make gold by the way. That was all it took to have fun in WSG at 19. Some players and teams stomped me, others had to employ some effort to beat me, and in either case I was able to contribute to many a game win.
Why can’t you just go get the gear? BGs won’t be released at launch, you have months to gear up and acquire wealth. How is it fair if someone enjoys the game not to use their wealth and game experience and acquired skills to contest against yours?
Let’s say you have 2 players, one who is level 10 and just walked into the WSG. He has about 180 health, and is in mostly white gear. And the second player is a level 19, who has run Deadmines once, maybe has one drop and did maybe 10 quests that gave him greens at least. This level 19 has about 600 health.
What does the 19 do to “have a competitive spirit” and “face people on fair terms” in order to play against that level 10?
WoW’s gameplay and meta game is effected by having gear, enchants and consumables. There are tiers of gameplay for pvp just like for pve. You got to accept that. A tier 2 level 19 pvper is going to defeat a tier 1 level 19 pvper often, if skill and knowledge is equal, and we’re not talking hard counter classes/specs.
A level 19 is going to beat a level 10, all else being equal.
That’s the game. It’s not cowardice. It’s how the entire game functions from level 1 to level 60.
