Please consider limiting the AH

Give the SSF players their own server and these problems go away.

Then why don’t you just play that way? No one is preventing you. Just as no one will prevent me from not equipping anything better than white items, and sell all valuable blues and greens on AH. I’m not mocking you. This is how I play HC  (IronMan Challenge.
Also no grouping, no dungeons, and no potions are part of this.)

I don’t know about you but I really want to see how AH will be on Hardcore. It will be quite interesting.

How about you do that if that is what you want to do.

Hence the reason player end up buying gold from rmt.

If players see the items on the Ah better then they have. They will want them.

The problem is new players without a 60 buying rmt gold so they can twink their characters out as they are leveling. Players will always try the easiest route if its available. Especially after dying multiple times.

How about implementing an IronMan server … all gear better than White is simply removed from the game.

ITT: only people who actually played HC understand, those who just want it easy be crying.

Not true. I played HC. I still do not agree. And I know many chafed under the addon rules.
I’ll say it myself and spare you the bother: They were not truly hardcore, and did not understand the spirit of Hardcore. :face_vomiting:

Most of the fun of classic is through the economy and professions. If you don’t wanna use the AH then don’t use it.

AND, it will atleast bridge the gap between a softcore and a hard-core server because your progression won’t totally be wrecked if you use bank alts.

I doubt most players have the stomach to keep starting over and over again from absolute zero.

defeating all the risk/reward of playing HC.
yay?

But … this is the FUN thing about Hardcore.

I feel there is more than one way to enjoy the HC content…. To each their own.

Not when the game is just not designed for that.

This game is built off of grouping up, and participating in the economy.

The addon rules were only necessary due to sharing the server, not because it was a better experience.

There is still that risk. Losing all of that progression and time will still provide the adrenaline rush of close calls.

Only now we can finally group up and play the game as it was meant to be played.

Purists should just keep using the addon if they don’t like it. Blizzard made the right decision.

people love parroting this^ while also ignoring that mmo’s are meant to have infinite respawns, but somehow that’s okay. lol

I am waiting for the complaints further down the road.

“Blizzard you suck and dont want to stop the rampant bots”.

"Gold Buyers are ruining the economy "

Blizzard then inserts the Wow token.

Groundhog day for every version of wow 3ver created.

Mayhaps the game is built with grouping in mind, it is a MMORPG, I know, but this does not dictate players to group; even when not playing HC I am not much for grouping, as I think everybody else is in too much of a hurry, and doing things in my own speed alone, is more fun than breathlessly trying to keep up with someone else.

…and this was so not what I said, I said that starting over - aka. levelling - is the FUN thing about hardcore, I did not say ONE single word about grouping or trade or AH - the latter two I actually always advocate for keeping in game even for HC. I’m afraid you’re barking up the wrong tree.

game is built with respawning in mind. yet here we are.

speaking of parroting you say the same thing in every thread. Those topics have already been debunked
