That question is not even compravale. I didn’t say I “needed” an appearance to survive.
Let’s be real for a sec Dawg. I would LOVE for another mage tower-esque challenge. I would love to be able to grind out a challenge and get some awesome appearances, mounts and other things for it. The reason why I want to do this is the exclusivity of the challenge. The sooner you do it, the sooner your gnome is lookin’ fly. The people that don’t do it don’t get cool lookin’ gnomes. Regardless of the reason. EZ.
The content has to go away at the end of the expansion since it’s now legacy content and cannot be balanced in a way which maintains the integrity of the competition (Which there is one, since it’s multiplayer and always a race) and the integrity of the challenge.

As someone who doesn’t have the appearances, i would be against bringing them back. Introduce new ones, sure, but leave the achievements made by others during its time to those players.
for full transparency, i came back to the game at the back end of legion and didnt find the time to actually do the tower.

You didn’t even address my points. You just say “That’s how it is.” Well, it shouldn’t be that way and Blizzard could change it.
How about you ask for recolors of those skins instead of things that were promised as limited time only. People get to keep their exclusive things (and Blizzard doesn’t break it’s word) and the rest of us get those cool looking skins (just in a different color).
Win/win for everyone.
